Florida lawmakers created an exemption to the state’s “resign-to-run” law that would allow the current Gov. Ron DeSantis to run for president in 2024 without resigning from his position.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told CNBC’s Squawk Box earlier this week that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis should “sit down and negotiate” with Disney and “solve the problem.”

During a school board meeting on Tuesday, Mayor Staggs addressed his concerns about "inappropriate materials and pornographic materials" available to students in the district's libraries.

"We have sent thousands of rounds of Challenger 2 ammunition to Ukraine, including depleted uranium armour-piercing rounds. For operational security reasons, we will not comment on Ukrainian usage rates for the rounds provided," says British Armed Forces Minister.
