Following in the footsteps of Arizona’s Senate Republicans, Pennsylvania’s Republican-controlled Senate is considering an investigation into how last year’s presidential election was conducted, a quest fueled by former President Donald Trump’s baseless claims that fraud was behind his loss in the battleground state.
A Georgia judge on June 24 dismissed seven of nine claims in a Fulton County election lawsuit while allowing two to proceed that require the county to produce digital images of some 150,000 mail-in ballots that are at the center of plaintiffs’ allegations of fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
The Arizona legislature is ready to take action if the election audit taking place in the state’s largest county uncovers irregularities, a state senator said.
