The United States Department of Justice reportedly admitted sending "commandos" to the Capitol on January 6, 2021 allegedly with a "shoot to kill" order on the crowd of former President Trump supporters.
U.S. Homeland Security’s top official told reporters on Jan. 4 that the department was “not aware of any specific, credible threats at this point related to Jan. 6, 2022,” one year after protesters breached the Capitol building.
"But what I believe we should focus on is conducting oversight and making sure that we're passing legislation to secure the border once and for all," said New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, GOP Conference chair.
