"Americans across the country have faced the devastating costs of Secretary Mayorkas’ dereliction of duty at our Southwest border. From record amounts of fentanyl poisonings to the drain on border community resources, the American people want answers on this crisis,” stated Chairman Green.
The findings, based on responses from over 9,300 of the 577,000 CBP and ICE agents surveyed, cited several reasons including increased workload, inconsistent border policies, irrelevant task assignments, resource insufficiency, and excessive overtime.
