Amazon, the e-commerce titan valued at $1.3 trillion, is facing a landmark lawsuit from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and 17 U.S. states, charging it with “illegal conduct” aimed at maintaining a monopoly in the online retail space.
The core of the lawsuit is an accusation that the government has colluded with major tech companies to stifle the freedom of speech of countless American citizens.

“This complaint concerns the freedom of speech and the extraordinary steps the United States government has taken under the leadership of Joe Biden to silence people it does not want Americans to hear," the lawsuit reads.
"Unfortunately, many malicious actors, especially federal bureaucrats, are bent on undermining the First Amendment and censoring Americans at every turn."
