Rumble Takes on Big Tech with Launch of Rumble Cloud Beta

Rumble (NASDAQ: RUM), a renowned video-sharing platform, unveiled its Rumble Cloud in a beta release, reaching a major milestone ahead of the company’s projected timeline.

This new platform is set to reshape the cloud services landscape, championing an uncensored and cost-efficient internet.

The Rumble Cloud is set to address a sizeable segment of the cloud market, which feels marginalized by Big Tech’s censorship of right-wing political beliefs and questionable pricing practices.

The company stated that Rumble Cloud would cater to those “disenfranchised by Big Tech’s censorship, as well as the significant share that is disenfranchised by Big Tech’s unfair pricing and lock-in strategies.”

Having gone public in late 2022, Rumble has been on a mission to uphold a free and open internet.

The IPO helped raise substantial capital, which was then funneled into content acquisition and the development of an independent infrastructure.

“Since then, Rumble and its growing team of world-class engineers have been actively building out infrastructure to support the company’s high-growth video and streaming business,” the press release highlighted.

Now, with a state-of-the-art infrastructure tailored for their vast video needs, Rumble is primed to capitalize on its surplus capacity, diving into the cloud market, and benefiting from the economies of scale.

Prospective beta users of Rumble Cloud can expect a comprehensive suite of contemporary cloud services built on cutting-edge technology.

Among its offerings, Rumble Cloud will feature cloud computing services such as “virtual machines and Kubernetes, storage services including block and object storage, and networking services with load balancers and a virtual private cloud.”

Through the Rumble Cloud Beta Partner program, partners are given a chance to reap the benefits of Rumble Cloud, offer invaluable feedback, and collaborate closely with Rumble’s top-tier engineers.

Chris Pavlovski, Rumble’s Chairman and CEO, shared his enthusiasm about the new venture: “In my opinion, the Rumble Cloud is one of the most overlooked opportunities with Rumble.”

He further stressed, “Building the Cloud is critical to Rumble’s core video business, but also creates enormous opportunity to tap into our excess capacity and sell it to a new customer base.”
