Bans federal agencies from engaging with social media companies "for the purpose of urging, encouraging, pressuring or inducing in any manner the removal, deletion, suppression or reduction of content containing protected free speech."
Justice Neil Gorsuch, who wrote the majority opinion, declared, "The First Amendment’s protections belong to all, not just to speakers whose motives the government finds worthy. In this case, Colorado seeks to force an individual to speak in ways that align with its views but defy her conscience about a matter of major significance."
Christian employees at Google created a petition saying that Google's sponsorship of a San Francisco drag show was a "direct affront" to their beliefs, resulting in Google dropping the sponsorship.
