Former President Donald Trump called Special Counsel Jack Smith a "deranged psycho" after a federal grand jury in Florida charged him with a 37-count indictment related to the classified documents case last week.
Count 33 of the indictment alleges that "TRUMP attempted to persuade Trump Attorney 1 to hide and conceal documents from a federal grand jury" and that "TRUMP and NAUTA misled Trump Attorney 1 by moving boxes that contained documents with classification markings so that Trump Attorney 1 would not find the documents and produce them to a federal grand jury."
The findings, based on responses from over 9,300 of the 577,000 CBP and ICE agents surveyed, cited several reasons including increased workload, inconsistent border policies, irrelevant task assignments, resource insufficiency, and excessive overtime.
In terms of popularity, Trump enjoys an approval rate of 79% among potential GOP voters, while DeSantis is viewed favorably by 71% of the party's electorate.
