A Secret Service agent reportedly stands at the bottom of the stairs of Air Force one to ensure that President Biden would not fall entering the aircraft.
According to The New York Times, Biden has continued to use the shorter stairs since he tripped on a sandbag during a graduation ceremony at the U.S. Air Force Academy last summer.
“Now, there is a Secret Service agent positioned at the bottom of the stairs when he disembarks,” the outlet reported.
