Scott Adams Reveals Terminal Cancer Diagnosis, Predicts Only Months to Live

Scott Adams, the creator of the “Dilbert” comic strip, has announced that he is battling advanced prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones. During a May 19 episode of his web show, “Real Coffee with Scott Adams,” the 67-year-old cartoonist disclosed that his life expectancy may extend only until the summer.

Adams described his condition as “intolerable,” noting constant pain and the use of a walker due to declining mobility. He stated, “Every day is a nightmare, and evening is even worse.”

The announcement came shortly after former President Joe Biden revealed a similar diagnosis. Adams expressed empathy for Biden and his family, acknowledging the challenges they will face.

Adams has been a prominent figure in American satire since launching “Dilbert” in 1989. The comic strip, known for its satirical take on corporate culture, gained widespread acclaim and was syndicated in numerous newspapers. However, in 2023, Adams faced backlash for controversial remarks, leading to the strip being dropped by several publications.

Despite his health challenges, Adams continues to engage with his audience through his web show, sharing insights and updates. He has expressed a desire to continue his work for as long as possible, stating that the show is the only activity he does during the day.
