RFK Jr. Refutes Speculation of Joining Trump on 2024 Electoral Ticket: ‘Under No Circumstances’

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a Democrat and nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy, has firmly denied any possibility of joining former President Donald Trump on an electoral ticket for the 2024 presidential race.

This comes after political strategist Steve Bannon suggested that Kennedy would be an “excellent choice” as Trump’s vice presidential candidate, during his War Room podcast.

RFK Jr. officially announced his candidacy last month, intending to challenge incumbent President Joe Biden.

Bannon discussed Kennedy’s prospects during an April podcast, stating that if Kari Lake is not available for Trump’s VP, “Bobby Kennedy would be an excellent choice for Trump to consider.”

Bannon’s suggestion was met with a standing ovation during a public appearance.

However, Kennedy shut down the speculation on Wednesday, responding via Twitter: “Just to quell any speculation, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will I join Donald Trump on an electoral ticket. Our positions on certain fundamental issues, our approaches to governance, and our philosophies of leadership could not be further apart.”

This firm denial from RFK Jr. emphasizes the vast ideological differences between him and Trump and the improbability of such a partnership materializing.

As the 2024 presidential race begins to take shape, candidates from both parties will continue to outline their positions and potential partnerships, with voters closely observing their every move.
