Pro-Palestine protestors attempted to shut down Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
The protestors staged a sit-in march, with some pouring fake blood on each other and chanting “liberation for Palestine and planet.”
Others glued their hands to the street.
“I’m glued down I can’t get up,” one protestor said, according to The New York Post.
“We need a ceasefire,” the protestor stated. “The Palestinians deserve the right to return to their ancestral land.”
Videos showed the protestors being arrested and escorted off the premises.

Prior to the parade, officials said they were implementing stronger security measures.
The move comes as the Israel-Hamas war “has created a heightened threat environment” making the parade an “attractive target,” according to a new threat assessment from the FBI.
“Though the 2023 New York City Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade event will provide a broad set of potential soft targets for an attack, congested areas where the largest amount of people gather- particularly designated viewing areas- are likely the most vulnerable spots for a mass casualty attack,” the assessment said.
