Palestinian Relocation: Netanyahu, Trump Push Plan for Gaza Exodus

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed this week that Israel is working with the United Nations and the United States on a Palestinian relocation plan to give Gazans the “freedom to choose” where they live, according to reporting from the Washington Free Beacon. The statement came during a joint White House press conference with President Donald Trump.

“I think President Trump had a brilliant vision,” Netanyahu said, praising the plan as one rooted in liberty. “It’s called free choice. If people want to stay, they can stay, but if they want to leave, they should be able to leave. It shouldn’t be a prison.”

Netanyahu noted that talks are progressing with several Middle Eastern nations interested in resettling Palestinians. “We’re working with the United States very closely about finding countries that will seek to realize what they always say—that they want to give Palestinians a better future,” he said. “I think we’re getting close to finding several countries.”

President Trump added that the U.S. and Israel are seeing “great cooperation” from “every single one” of the Arab countries involved in discussions.

When asked about far-left New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani’s threat to arrest him, Netanyahu dismissed it: “There’s enough craziness in the world.” Trump was more direct: “He’s going to behave. He better behave, otherwise he’s going to have big problems.”
