Microsoft Election Meddling, The Hidden Power Play

The Fair Election Fund (FEF) launched a digital ad campaign this week alongside a report accusing Microsoft of suppressing conservative speech, influencing elections, and compromising national security. The organization’s findings highlight a growing concern over Big Tech’s role in American democracy and its impact on free and fair elections.

The report details political bias within Microsoft’s leadership. Bill Gates, Microsoft’s founder, reportedly donated $50 million to Future Forward USA Action, a “dark money” group supporting Kamala Harris in 2024. President Brad Smith and his wife hosted a fundraiser for the Biden Victory Fund. During the 2022 midterm elections, Microsoft blocked employees from donating to 147 Republican lawmakers, including Senators Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, and House Speaker Mike Johnson. Democrats who had objected to previous elections, however, faced no such restrictions.

Microsoft’s content moderation policies also came under scrutiny. FEF points to LinkedIn’s transparency reports, showing over 147,000 “misinformation removals,” particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Microsoft’s partnership with NewsGuard and the Global Disinformation Index has targeted center-right outlets, raising concerns about biased censorship.

National security risks were another major issue raised. Microsoft’s close relationship with China includes source code sharing and the use of Chinese engineers on federal contracts. FEF warns that these ties could pose a serious risk to U.S. election infrastructure. Microsoft’s opposition to Georgia’s 2021 voting integrity law, despite record voter turnout in 2022, is cited as further evidence of partisan alignment.

The digital ad campaign launched by FEF is designed to pressure lawmakers and regulators to investigate Microsoft. The group is demanding transparency, oversight, and ideological neutrality from the tech giant. The campaign aligns with growing conservative concern over Big Tech’s expanding influence on political discourse and election outcomes.

Dems Reject Bill Supporting Military During Shutdown

Senate Democrats have rejected a bill to pay U.S. soldiers and essential government workers while the government shutdown persists.

The bill, sponsored by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), sought to “appropriate funds for pay and allowances of excepted Federal employees for periods of work performed during a lapse in appropriations.”

“For fiscal year 2026, and any fiscal year thereafter, there are appropriated such sums as are necessary to provide standard rates of pay, allowances, pay differentials, benefits, and other payments on a regular basis to excepted employees,” it reads.

Three Democrats, Senators Jon Ossoff (D-GA), Raphael Warnock (D-GA), and John Fetterman (D-PA), supported the legislation, although it failed in a 54-45 vote.

Ahead of the bill’s consideration, Johnson said, “With Democrats continuing the Schumer Shutdown, they should at least agree to pay all the federal employees that are forced to continue working. The 2025 Shutdown Fairness Act is a permanent fix that will ensure excepted workers and our troops are paid during a shutdown.”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) told reporters he believes the legislation “appears to be more like a political ploy to pick and choose, giving Donald Trump discretion [over] which employees should be compensated, and which employees should not be compensated. All employees should be compensated and that will happen when we reopen the government.”

Several Democrats have proposed their own legislation to pay federal employees during the shutdown. Senators Brian Schatz (D-HI) and Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) joined more than 20 Senators in introducing the “True Shutdown Fairness Act,” which pays both excepted and furloughed federal employees, as well as servicemembers and federal contractors, according to a press release on the matter.

ICE Seeks Arrest of Illegal Trucker After 3 Killed

The Department of Homeland Security announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is seeking the arrest of an illegal immigrant serving as a truck driver in California who killed three people during a DUI accident.

Jashanpreet Singh, an Indian national, was arrested by San Bernardino County officials on charges of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence. He was released into the country under the Biden administration upon first entering the United States in 2022.

“It is a terrible tragedy three innocent people lost their lives due to the reckless open border policies that allowed an illegal alien to be released into the U.S. and drive an 18-wheeler on America’s highways,” Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement. “This accident follows a disturbing trend of illegal aliens driving 18 wheelers and semi-trucks on America’s roads. Earlier this week, DHS highlighted another fatal accident in Indiana caused by an illegal alien driving a semi-truck. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, ICE is working day-in and day-out to make America’s roads safe again.”

News of the arrest detainer follows Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier filing a lawsuit against California and Washington in the Supreme Court, alleging the states’ granting of Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) to illegal immigrants has endangered U.S. citizens.

“California’s and Washington’s open defiance of federal immigration laws is well documented. Both States routinely frustrate and hinder federal law enforcement from addressing the immigration crisis and the destruction that accompanies it,” the filing says. Resistance to federal law enforcement includes “failing to honor the federal safety regulations regarding the commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) needed to operate eighteen wheelers and other commercial motor vehicles.”

The lawsuit declares that California’s and Washington’s “decision to endanger their own citizens is reprehensible. But commercial drivers routinely cross state lines, endangering citizens of other States.”

Lenient Sentence for Kavanaugh Attacker Triggers Impeachment Effort

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) has filed articles of impeachment against U.S. District Judge Deborah L. Boardman of the District of Maryland after she gave a lenient sentence to a transgender-identifying individual who sought to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“U.S. District Court Judge Deborah Boardman deserves to be impeached for her absurd 8-year sentence of a man convicted of attempting to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and his family,” Roy said in a statement. “Boardman unequivocally based this weak sentence on the attempted assassin’s ‘gender identity,’ as the attempted assassin expressed that he views himself as a woman. Instead of doing what the Judiciary calls for and sentencing this man to the base 30-year sentence recommended by the Department of Justice, Judge Boardman purposefully allowed this man off easy.”

“Judge Boardman should be impeached swiftly and without reservation,” Roy added.

Nicholas John Roske, who was arrested outside Kavanaugh’s Maryland home armed with a handgun, ammunition, and burglary tools, now goes by “Sophie” Roske.

The impeachment articles state that Boardman, “in violation of her oath of office, did knowingly and willfully use her judicial position to knowingly interfere with the President’s constitutional prerogatives and enforcement of the rule of law.”

“Judge Boardman’s indefensibly light sentence undermines the gravity of the offense committed by Roske and the assault it represented on our Constitution and the rule of law by targeting a Supreme Court Justice,” the articles add, further condemning her “personal feelings of Roske identifying as a transgender woman to influence her sentencing decision in her high office.”

The filing goes on to assert that Boardman “interfered with the will of the people and Congress that have codified statute to impose appropriate sentences for those who intend to kill federal judges, ignoring the 30-year sentence recommendation by the Department of Justice.”

Google AI Lists Fake Criminal Allegations for Conservative Activist

Conservative activist Robby Starbuck filed a lawsuit against Google, alleging the company’s artificial intelligence generated false information about him.

“Since 2023, [Google AI] (Bard, Gemini & Gemma), has been defaming me with fake criminal allegations including sexual assault, child rape, abuse, fraud, stalking, drug charges, and even saying I was in Epstein’s flight logs,” Starbuck wrote on X, emphasizing that the claims are “all 100% fake. All generated by Google’s AI. I have ZERO criminal record or allegations.”

“So why did Google do it? Google’s AI says that I was targeted because of my political views,” he wrote.

Starbuck added that Google executives knew of the false information for two years and received cease and desist letters numerous times.

“One of the most dystopian things I’ve ever seen is how dedicated their AI was to doubling down on the lies. Google’s AI routinely cited fake sources by creating fake links to REAL media outlets and shows, complete with fake headlines so readers would trust the information,” he added. “It would continue to do this even if you called the AI out for lying or sending fake links. In short, it was creating fake legacy media reports as a way to launder trust with users so they would believe elaborate lies that it told.”

Google spokesman José Castañeda told The Wall Street Journal that the inaccurate information is a “well-known issue for all [large language models], which we disclose and work hard to minimize.” He noted that if someone is “creative enough, you can prompt a chatbot to say something misleading.”

Democrat Donor Revolt Deepens as Party Faces Fundraising Crisis

A growing Democrat donor revolt is hitting the Democratic National Committee (DNC), as top funders refuse to bankroll events and lash out over the party’s lack of direction and poor leadership. According to a Wall Street Journal report, several major donors turned down requests to host a San Francisco fundraiser featuring former Vice President Kamala Harris—one even sending a “profanity-laced rejection.”

“At one point earlier this year, the DNC reached out to big donors to host a San Francisco-area fundraiser headlined by former Vice President Kamala Harris. Most of the donors rejected the request,” the Journal reported. Those who declined cited frustration over the party’s inability to “produce substantive plans to win elections.”

The backlash comes amid mounting financial woes. The DNC holds just $12 million in cash reserves—compared to the Republican National Committee’s $86 million—and continues to lag behind in every major fundraising metric. A Politico report described the committee as “rudderless, off message and leaderless.”

Tensions under chairman Ken Martin have grown, with one member calling him “weak and whiny” and another saying he’s been “invisible.” Infighting intensified after the DNC ousted former vice chair David Hogg, who sought to fund primary challenges against “ineffective, asleep-at-the-wheel” incumbents.

Democratic megadonor Rachel Pritzker expressed dismay at the party’s inertia. “It is shocking how little reassessment the party and its leadership has done,” she told the Journal.

As the Democrat donor revolt widens, the party faces both financial instability and a deepening internal divide heading into next year’s midterms.

Broadway Producer James Simon Returns After Hostage Poster Scandal

James Simon, a producer and former viral villain for tearing down posters of Israeli hostages is back in the spotlight—this time on the Great White Way. Simon, who was filmed using scissors to slice through a flyer of a kidnapped Jewish civilian days after Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, terror attack, is now a co-producer for the Broadway musical Operation Mincemeat.

The Upper West Side blog that first published the video sparked widespread outrage, landing Simon in the online Jew Hate Database. He later apologized, telling the New York Post he only removed the posters to “keep the city’s streets clean” and claimed he was enforcing Department of Sanitation rules. Despite the backlash, Simon’s Tony-nominated show—centered on a British deception mission during World War II—opened at the John Golden Theatre in March and runs through February.

Simon has since sought to rehabilitate his image. The outlet Infinite Sights ran a flattering April piece titled How James Simon Quietly Helped Shape Modern Broadway. Its writer, Travis Hutton, confirmed to the Washington Free Beacon that “most—95 percent—but not all of the Spotlight section are paid placements.”

Simon also co-produced The Marriage of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, calling it a “laugh-out-loud show” that highlights “Jewish celebrations, artistic genius, [and] what it meant to be in love then.”
