Radical Muslim Preacher Extolls Charlie Kirk’s Assassination as a ‘Praiseworthy Action’ in Viral Video

A 39-minute clip from Project Guiding Light, tied to radical Muslim preacher Ahmad Musa Jibril, has revived outrage after openly celebrating Charlie Kirk’s assassination and urging replication — a development U.S. officials say prompted visa revocations. The Guiding Light video, titled “The Fate of Charlie Kirk: The Insulter of the Messenger [Prophet Muhammad] and His Ruling According to Islam,” ran on multiple platforms and described moderate Muslim critics as “clowns.”

The narrator urged that “Muslims should be rejoicing and thanking Allah” for Kirk’s death and asserted, “Whoever insults the Prophet or disparages him, whether Muslim or disbeliever, then he is to be killed.” The segment pressed the claim that “What greater enemy to the Sharia [Islamic law] is there than someone who insults the Messenger and by extension Allah?” and later argued, “As Muslims, what should or shouldn’t happen to someone, especially in terms of life and death, is based on the Sharia of Allah alone.”

MEMRI traced the content to Project Guiding Light and linked it to Jibril, who has been tied to extremist circles. Trump administration officials told the Washington Free Beacon they are acting: the State Department revoked visas for at least six foreigners who celebrated the killing online. One senior U.S. official said, “Any individual on a visa is a guest in our country. If he or she chooses to promote violence against Americans, including patriots like Charlie Kirk, then they are no longer welcome here. It’s as simple as that.” A State Department official added, “the United States will no longer welcome aliens who pose a threat to our national security.”

The episode underscores continuing concerns about foreign-linked radical networks spreading violent propaganda on U.S. soil and online.

Duffy Threatens to Pull License Power from California

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy threatened to revoke California’s ability to issue commercial driver’s licenses if it fails to comply with transportation policies.

Speaking to Sean Hannity, Duffy said, “I already took $40 million from the state of California. I’m doing a quick review of their lack of compliance for our rules. I have the ability and I’m going to pull almost another $160 million.”

“And then I have the ability for California to say, listen, you don’t follow any of these rules that keep Americans safe, we’re going to revoke your ability to issue a commercial driver’s license,” he said.

“I put states on notice this summer: enforce the Trump Administration’s English language requirements or the checks stop coming,” Duffy said in a statement upon pulling millions of dollars from the state. “California is the only state in the nation that refuses to ensure big rig drivers can read our road signs and communicate with law enforcement. This is a fundamental safety issue that impacts you and your family on America’s road.”

He added that the funding is “valuable money that should be going to the great men and women in California law enforcement, who we support. Gov. Newsom’s insistence on obstructing federal law has tied my hands.”

Duffy’s statement to Hannity comes as the Department of Homeland Security announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is seeking the arrest of an illegal immigrant serving as a truck driver in California who killed three people during a DUI accident.

Jashanpreet Singh, an Indian national, was arrested by San Bernardino County officials on charges of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence. He was released into the country under the Biden administration upon first entering the United States in 2022.

Tragic Loss: Chess Master Daniel Naroditsky’s Found Dead

Authorities are investigating the death of Daniel Naroditsky death, the 29-year-old U.S. chess grandmaster, considering whether it may have been a suicide or drug overdose. Police were called to Naroditsky’s home in the southern suburbs of Charlotte at 7:11 p.m. Sunday, where he was found unresponsive on a couch by the founder of his chess club. He was later pronounced dead by medics.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is treating the incident as a sudden or natural death but has the homicide unit actively investigating. The circumstances surrounding his passing remain unclear.

Naroditsky, who became a grandmaster at just 18, had been under intense scrutiny in recent months after repeated accusations of cheating in online games by former world champion Vladimir Kramnik. Naroditsky consistently denied the allegations and maintained his innocence, while his mother said the attacks had taken a toll on his mental health. “There was nothing more important to Daniel than his dignity and his name as a chess player. And the ex-world champion was trying to say he’s a cheater,” Elena Naroditsky told the Mail Online.

The chess community has mourned the loss of the prodigy, with his mother calling it “a tragedy” and praising his brilliance and generosity. Meanwhile, the sport’s international governing body is reportedly considering disciplinary action against Kramnik for pushing unproven cheating allegations.

The investigation into Naroditsky’s death remains ongoing, with authorities seeking to determine the exact cause and circumstances of this devastating loss to the chess world.

Judge Strikes Down Biden-Era Trans Policy

A federal judge struck down a Biden-era rule that expanded anti-discrimination policies to include transgender measures.

According to Judge Louis Guirola Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) “exceeded its authority by implementing regulations redefining sex discrimination and prohibiting gender identity discrimination.”

Because the word “sex” was not defined in the statute, the court said the rule “cannot be divorced from the circumstances existing at the time it was passed.”

“When it enacted Title IX, Congress’s concern was prohibiting sex discrimination in education. It was particularly concerned with inequality that female students experienced,” the ruling read. “It did not at that time contemplate gender identity, transgender status, or ‘gender affirming care.'”

The ruling is in favor of a group of fifteen Republican-led states that argued the HHS rule exceeded the agency’s authority because it “provides that sex discrimination includes gender-identity discrimination,” and “it unlawfully regulates the practice of medicine.”

“When Biden-era bureaucrats tried to illegally rewrite our laws to force radical gender ideology into every corner of American health care, Tennessee stood strong and stopped them,” Tennessee Attorney General Skrmetti said in a statement following the ruling. “Our fifteen-state coalition worked together to protect the right of health care providers across America to make decisions based on evidence, reason, and conscience. This decision restores not just common sense but also constitutional limits on federal overreach, and I am proud of the team of excellent attorneys who fought this through to the finish.”

Skrmetti’s office said the Biden-era rule was a “disturbing federal intrusion into the States’ traditional authority to regulate healthcare and make decisions about their own Medicaid programs.”

States joining Tennessee in the lawsuit were Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia and West Virginia.

Son Faces Justice Years Later in Shocking Brutal Family Murders in Newport Beach

A jury found Camden Burton Nicholson guilty of three counts of first-degree murder in a case that has gripped Newport Beach, California, for years, marking a grim resolution to the brutal family murders that took the lives of his parents and their longtime housekeeper.

The killings occurred over two days in February 2019. Prosecutors said Nicholson, 34, stabbed his father, Richard Nicholson, 64, multiple times after his parents urged him to seek help for mental health and addiction struggles. He then attacked his mother, Kim Nicholson, 61, striking her with a metal statue and stabbing her repeatedly. The following morning, housekeeper Maria Morse, 57, was also killed inside the family’s home.

Authorities described the crime scene as horrific. “There was so much blood, the defendant tried to soak it up with a bag of flour,” said Senior Deputy District Attorney Dave Porter. Nicholson then reportedly took the family car on a spending spree before calling 911 and claiming self-defense.

Defense attorneys argued Nicholson suffered from schizoaffective disorder, citing hospitalizations and psychiatric treatment dating back to 2012. They emphasized delusions and mental health struggles that, in their view, made him incapable of understanding his actions.

The trial now moves into the sanity phase, which will determine whether Nicholson is sentenced to life in prison without parole or committed to a state mental hospital. For a community still reeling from the violence, the outcome will close a chapter on a horrifying episode of domestic violence and mental health tragedy.

‘I Would Never Cheat’: Chauncey Billups Arrest Shocks NBA Fans in FBI Gambling Probe

Basketball Hall of Famer Chauncey Billups’ arrest stunned fans Thursday after the Portland Trail Blazers head coach left an Oregon federal courthouse without answering questions. The former NBA star was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering in connection with a widespread FBI gambling investigation.

Federal prosecutors allege Billups and more than 30 others—including Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and former assistant coach Damon Jones—rigged high-stakes poker games tied to La Cosa Nostra crime families. The Department of Justice said the “Cheating Teams” took in at least $7.15 million in losses from victims since 2019.

According to the DOJ, “Billups and Jones, in particular… were utilized to attract victims to the games because of their status as former professional athletes.” Billups allegedly participated in “rigged poker games” in Las Vegas using a “rigged shuffling machine,” with one game alone netting $50,000 in losses.

The NBA placed Billups on immediate leave, stating, “We take these allegations with the utmost seriousness, and the integrity of our game remains our top priority.” The Trail Blazers announced assistant coach Tiago Splitter would assume interim head coaching duties.

Billups’ legal team pushed back forcefully. “Anyone who knows Chauncey Billups knows he is a man of integrity; men of integrity do not cheat and defraud others,” his attorney said. “He will fight these allegations with the same tenacity that marked his 28-year career.”

Chaos in the Skies: Major Airport Ground Stops Hit as Shutdown Strains Air Traffic Control

Air travelers faced major disruptions Thursday as airport ground stops rippled through three of the nation’s busiest hubs, a direct consequence of air traffic controller shortages amid the ongoing government shutdown.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) was the first to delay flights, averaging 30-minute setbacks due to staffing issues. Newark Liberty International (EWR) and New York’s LaGuardia (LGA) soon followed, issuing full ground stops that temporarily halted all departures.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) warned that the probability of extending those restrictions was “medium,” or between 30% and 60%. Earlier this month, the FAA confirmed it was grappling with nationwide air traffic disruptions as control centers in Chicago, Nashville, Houston, and Las Vegas faced critical understaffing.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy told Fox News’ Will Cain that under normal conditions, only about 5% of delays are caused by staffing issues. Now, he said, that number has surged to 53%. “My message to the air traffic controllers who work for DOT is show up for work,” Duffy said. “You have a job to do … those who have shown up, I’m grateful for them and their service.”

Despite the frustration, Duffy emphasized that “safety comes first,” noting that the Department of Transportation will slow or stop traffic if conditions aren’t safe.

With the shutdown stretching past three weeks, the cascading impact on aviation underscores how federal gridlock continues to ground not only flights—but the patience of American travelers.

Jack Smith to Confront ‘Mischaracterizations’ of Trump Investigation

Special Counsel Jack Smith (Photo by Drew Angerer/Getty Images)

Former Special Counsel Jack Smith is requesting to testify publicly following a letter by House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH).

Writing to Jordan and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Smith’s lawyers said the “many mischaracterizations” of the investigation into President Trump warrant the “opportunity to testify in open hearings.”

“Given the many mischaracterizations of Mr. Smith’s investigation into President Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents and role in attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election, Mr. Smith respectfully requests the opportunity to testify in open hearings before the House and Senate Judiciary Committees,” Smith’s lawyers wrote.

They claimed that Smith “steadfastly adhered to established legal standards and Department of Justice guidelines, consistent with his approach throughout his career as a dedicated public servant,” noting that the former special counsel is “prepared to answer questions about the Special Counsel’s investigation and prosecution, but requires assurance from the Department of Justice that he will not be punished for doing so.”

“To that end, Mr. Smith needs guidance from the Department of Justice regarding federal grand jury secrecy requirements and authorization on the matters he may speak to regarding, among other things, Volume II of the Final Report of the Special Counsel, which is not publicly available,” the lawyers continued, further requesting that Smith have “access to the Special Counsel files, which he no longer has the ability to access.”

Earlier this month, Jordan sent a letter to former Special Counsel Smith, demanding that he testify on the weaponized Department of Justice under the Biden administration. “Among the disturbing tactics employed in that prosecution, your team sought to silence President Trump by restricting his public statements about the case, conducted an unnecessary and abusive raid of his residence, attempted to improperly pressure defense counsel with the promise of political patronage, and manipulated key evidence in the investigation,” the letter condemns, stating the actions undermined the “integrity of the criminal justice system and violated the core responsibility of federal prosecutors to do justice.”

‘A Slap on the Wrist’: Outrage Erupts After Violent Teen Escapes Prison Time as ‘Youthful Offender’

Families in Payne County, Oklahoma, are furious after a student accused of multiple brutal sexual assaults avoided prison time when a judge reclassified him as a youthful offender.

Eighteen-year-old Jesse Butler, a former Stillwater High School student, pleaded no contest to 11 felony counts — including attempted first-degree rape, strangulation, and violating a protective order. Prosecutors said the assaults occurred before Butler turned 18, triggering a change in status under Oklahoma’s youthful offender statute.

That reclassification means Butler’s 78-year sentence is suspended, and he will remain free under state supervision until age 19 — required to attend counseling, perform community service, and obey a curfew. He will not serve prison time unless he violates the program’s terms.

Victims and their families call the ruling a miscarriage of justice. “You didn’t just strangle me with your hands — you strangled my voice, my joy, my ability to feel safe in my own body,” one victim wrote in a court statement. Her mother said the system “failed” her daughter, adding that “the system made excuse after excuse for the person who hurt her.”

State Rep. J.J. Humphrey, R-Lane, blasted the decision and vowed to pursue a grand jury probe. “Does it absolutely smack of political favor that you’re going to erase rapes and sexual crimes so you can give this guy a slap on the wrist?” he said. “Oklahoma, better pay attention. Wake up.”

The Payne County District Attorney’s Office insists it followed state law, but public outrage continues to build over what many see as justice denied.

‘Give Me a Break’: Sen. Josh Hawley Clashes with CNN Over White House Renovation

Senator Josh Hawley (Screenshot from YouTube/Senator Josh Hawley)

During a tense CNN exchange Wednesday, Sen. Josh Hawley, (R-MO), turned the tables on a reporter questioning President Donald Trump’s decision to renovate part of the White House. CNN’s Manu Raju asked whether the demolition of the East Wing facade to make room for a new ballroom was “destroying history.”

Hawley shot back by reminding critics of the left’s recent push to tear down American monuments. “I hear all of a sudden from my liberal friends that they’re very concerned about our history. Really? These are the same people who tore down every statue they could get their hands on in the last four years,” he said.

Construction began Monday, sparking backlash from preservation groups and some lawmakers. The White House defended the move, calling the ballroom a privately funded addition that would “echo the storied history of improvements and additions by presidents to the executive residence.” The statement blasted media criticism as “unhinged.”

When Raju pressed again on whether the demolition uproots an “iconic building,” Hawley didn’t hold back. Citing the destruction of statues of Christopher Columbus, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt during the 2020 riots, he scoffed, “They didn’t have any concern for history then. Now, all of a sudden, they’re like, ‘Oh, the facade of the East Wing is iconic.’ Oh, give me a break.”

Hawley’s sharp rebuttal captured conservative frustration with what many see as selective outrage from the media and the left.
