Biden, Trump Wish Americans a ‘Happy Easter’

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump both wished the public a happy Easter on Sunday.

“Jill and I want to send you our warmest Easter greetings to you and your family. As we celebrate this most holy day, we know many are still going without familiar comforts of the season,” Biden said in a video. “The virus is not gone, and so many of us feel the longing and loneliness of distance. For a second year, most will be apart from their families, their friends, full congregations that fill us with joy,” he continued.

He was joined by First Lady Jill Biden, who called on the public to get vaccinated for COVID-19, the disease the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus causes.

“Today, as spring returns, we see hope all around us. Families are getting the financial help they need to take a breath once again,” she said. “Businesses are recovering and more and more Americans are getting life-saving vaccines.”

“Happy Easter to ALL, including the Radical Left CRAZIES,” Trump said via his Save America PAC on Sunday.

“For years the Radical Left Democrats have played dirty by boycotting products when anything from that company is done or stated in any way that offends them,” Trump said. “Now they are going big time with WOKE CANCEL CULTURE and our sacred elections. It is finally time for Republicans and Conservatives to fight back—we have more people than they do—by far!” Trump also wrote over the weekend.

Before that, Trump called on conservatives to boycott Major League Baseball (MLB) games after the league pulled its annual All-Star game from Atlanta, Georgia, in protest of a major new voting law passed in the Georgia Legislature last month.

‘Leader of Free World Is Incoherent, Having to be Propped Up Physically and Intellectually’: Sky News Host

President Biden Is Officially Crumbling

SKY News host Alan Jones went off on Joe Biden and his handlers again this week in his commentary.

Alan Jones says the “Trump point” about liberal media bias and protection of Joe Biden was proven after American news sites had “no mention” of Joe Biden’s falls while boarding Air Force One.

Alan Jones: “Leader of the Free World is incoherent, having to be propped up physically and intellectually…  After the stumble, the websites of MSNBC, CBS News, the Washington Post, Lost Angeles Times and the New York Times all had no mention of Biden’s stumbling incident,” Mr Jones said. “To prove the Trump point, when it came to airtime on television, CNN devoted 15 seconds to the incident”. “But when Trump walked slowly down a ramp after he delivered a graduation address last June, CNN devoted 22 minutes to Trump’s walk, the media pushing the line that Trump – 74 – was facing serious health question.”

It really is a statement to the deplorable bias in the American fake news that an Aussie reporter has to school them on their lies and deceit.
Truly shameful.

This was another excellent analysis by Alan Jones.

WATCH: Psaki questioned on video footage of children being thrown over border wall

“I will say that our concern and our focus is on sending a clear message to the region that this is not the time to come,” Psaki said.

White House Press Secretary was asked in a Thursday press conference whether the White House is considering tightening security at the southern border after a video surfaced of children being thrown over the border wall.

“On immigration, has the White House considered beefing up border security now that there is video of a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old being thrown over the wall in New Mexico?” Psaki was asked.

“I’ve seen the video and I think any of us who saw the video were incredibly alarmed by the steps of smugglers, ones that we have been quite familiar with,” Psaki began. “As Secretary Mayorkas said, the inhumane way smugglers abuse children while profiting off parents’ desperation is criminal and morally reprehensible.”

This One California Food Bank Illustrates The Devastation Of Newsom’s Lockdowns

William Hernandez has been working with the Valley Food Bank in Pacoima, Calif., for 17 years and has never seen such high demand.

LOS ANGELES — William Hernandez has been working with the Valley Food Bank in Pacoima, Calif., for 17 years and has rarely seen such high demand.

From serving $300,000 worth of groceries each year to area families in need more than 15 years ago, the donation-based food bank in suburban Los Angeles now handles upwards of $1.5 million per month. The center has had to adjust its operations to limit volunteers and contacts while going from feeding, on average, around 3,900 families to 10,000 families per month.

“It’s a challenge,” Hernandez, who is the director of the enterprise said, but emphasized in an interview with The Federalist while providing a tour of the facility they’ve been able to manage through generous donations, which have reinforced his faith in public charity. “People want to help.”

Amid the coronavirus panic, California has been among the states hardest hit by the self-inflicted wounds of Democratic-ordered lockdowns tossing residents into unemployment. Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democrat mayors have declared their ability to sustain themselves non-essential.

California, subject to some of the harshest restrictions in the country, ranks 29th in rates for COVID mortality but 48th in nationwide unemployment with a rate of 8.5 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In contrast, Florida, a state with a far higher population of seniors as a proportion of its residents ranks 27th in its COVID mortality rate despite its far looser restrictions, giving it an unemployment rate of 4.7.

VIDEO: UK Police Forcefully Stop Good Friday Service, Threaten Christians With Fines Or Arrest

“Failure to comply with this direction to leave and go to your home address ultimately could lead you to be fined 200, or if you fail to give your details, to be arrested.”

Police in the United Kingdom forcefully disrupted a Good Friday church service in London, storming the sanctuary and threatening the Polish Christians with fines or arrest if they refused to give their information to authorities and disperse.

“UK police officers are breaking up masses during Easter,” wrote migration expert Benjamin Loughnane. “Do they really feel that they are serving the public good? Video from Balham, SW London.”

US Agency Opens 2 Safety Probes of Volkswagen, Audi Vehicles

DETROIT—The U.S. government’s road safety agency has opened two investigations into problems with Volkswagen vehicles, including one that alleges serious gasoline leaks under the hood.

Details of the probes, which cover nearly 215,000 vehicles, were posted Friday on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website.

The largest investigation covers more than 191,000 VW Atlas SUVs from the 2018 through 2020 model years. The agency says it has three complaints and 11 field reports alleging leaks near the fuel injectors in 3.6-liter engines.

Some complaints say that fuel spewed from the engine compartment, creating the risk of a fire. Agency documents say no fires have been linked to the issue so far, but fuel leaks increase the risk because the gasoline can hit high-temperature components.

The probe could lead to a recall but so far there hasn’t been one. Volkswagen says any owner who smells gasoline should contact their dealer immediately.

Free States Faring Far Better Than Lockdown States in One Huge Way, New Data Show

The results are in—and they overwhelmingly vindicate the free states over the authoritarian experiments.

When COVID-19 first came to our shores, it presented policymakers and elected officials with a crisis like nothing in living memory. In the year since, states have taken markedly different approaches to pandemic policy. Some, like New York, embraced sweeping government lockdowns and top-down mandates while others like Florida and South Dakota took a more humble, hands-off government approach, trusting individuals to make the best decisions for themselves.

The results are in—and they overwhelmingly vindicate the free states over the authoritarian experiments. First, we saw that states with the harshest restrictions didn’t necessarily achieve the best COVID-19 death outcomes. Florida has fared far better than New York and New Jersey, for example, and multiple studies have found no correlation between lockdown stringency and death rates

Yet lockdowns have come at an enormous economic and human cost. We’ve seen mental health problems and child suicide spikes, an increase in domestic violence, an uptick in drug overdoses, and much, much more. And, of course, the economic toll of shutting down businesses and criminalizing “non-essential” livelihoods has been devastating.

The national unemployment rate was a poor if not disastrous 6.2 percent in February. Yet the just-released state-level unemployment rates for last month show that the devastation hasn’t been equal across the board. New Labor Department data reveal that many free states have returned to nearly their pre-pandemic unemployment rates—while lockdown states dominate the wrong end of the list.

Pope Francis Ignores Uighur Genocide In Easter Message

ROME — Pope Francis proclaimed his yearly Easter blessing Sunday where the plight of Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang China was conspicuously missing.

In his solemn Urbi et Orbi blessing, the pontiff offers a virtual tour of problem areas around the globe to point out conflicts and injustices but as he has done on past occasions, he carefully omitted any reference to those suffering human rights abuses under China’s Communist regime.

In this year’s litany of areas plagued by conflicts, violence, and disasters, the pope recalled the people of Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, the Sahel, Nigeria, Tigray and the Cabo Delgado region, eastern Ukraine and Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as Jerusalem and the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.

In the case of Yemen, Francis denounced the “deafening and scandalous silence” that has accompanied its situation, while himself contributing to the deafening and scandalous silence concerning the fate of the Uighurs.

Chris Christie: Biden Is a ‘Liar and a Hypocrite’ for Election Law Rhetoric

President Joe Biden is a hypocrite and a liar, according to Chris Christie, by pouring gasoline on raging election integrity and racial injustice fires for political expediency.

“Here’s what Joe Biden’s got to live with when he wakes up this morning on Easter morning: He is doing exactly what he sat around in the campaign and the transition and accused Donald Trump of doing; he is lying to cause racial divisions in this country,” Christie told ABC’s “This Week.”

“That’s what he accused Donald Trump of doing, and he’s a liar and a hypocrite this morning.”

Christie, the former GOP governor of New Jersey, had a firm back-and-forth with former Democrat Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel on whether or not Biden is lying in his rebuke of Georgia’s election reforms, which were codified into law after Democrats used the guise of COVID-19 to make massive 2020 election changes without passing them through the state legislature.

Biden was lying because the Georgia election reforms “expands early voting in Georgia” when “the president said it ended it,” according to Christie.

“Let’s talk about what the Georgia law is really about because we haven’t had much of that,” Christie said. “Drop boxes now become a permanent part of the Georgia landscape. They were not prior to COVID. They are now.

“Minimum of 17 days of early voting, including two Saturdays and two optional Sundays. You’re going to have all voters being able to have multiple ways to prove who they are, driver’s license, last four numbers of your Social Security number, even a utility bill or a free ID provided by the state of Georgia, and voting is going to be until – from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. as it is right now in Georgia.”

HE IS RISEN!

Why do you seek the living among the dead?

But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” And they remembered his words, and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles, but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them. But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened. –Luke 24:1–12 (ESV)

Happy Easter, from all of us at American Faith to you and your family!
