Maxine Waters: Chauvin Trial Judge ‘Way Off Track’ with Appeal Remarks — ‘He Knows That There Was No Interference with the Jurors’

Saturday, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) appeared on CNN’s “Newsroom” to respond to remarks from Judge Peter Cahill near the close of the Derek Chauvin trial last week about Waters’ call for confrontation over a potential outcome in the trial.

Waters was dismissive of Cahill’s concern and downplayed claims that she had interfered with the jury’s deliberation.

Biden’s own government admits what is behind migrant surge, border crisis

President Joe Biden’s immigration policies are driving the migrant surge and ensuing border crisis, according to a Customs and Border Protection intelligence alert that was issued earlier this month.

Despite the largest wave of migrants in two decades overwhelming American immigration resources, Biden’s administration has refused to acknowledge the humanitarian crisis unfolding at the southern U.S. border. They have, literally, refused to call the situation a “crisis.”

Instead, the White House blames problems in the Northern Triangle region of Central America — which includes Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador — for the push of migrants north to America.

“The president does not feel that children coming to our border seeking refuge from violence, economic hardships, and other dire circumstances is a crisis,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said this week. “He does feel that the crisis in Central America — the dire circumstances that many are fleeing from — that that is a situation we need to spend our time or effort on and we need to address it if we’re going to prevent more of an influx of migrants from coming in years to come.

FBI Releases Documents on Investigation Into Death of Democrat National Committee Worker Seth Rich

The FBI has produced 68 pages relating to a Democrat National Committee (DNC) worker who was shot dead in 2016 in Washington, including an investigative summary that appears to suggest someone could have paid for his death.

Seth Rich, the worker, was shot dead in the early morning hours on July 16, 2016, near his home in the nation’s capital.

The murder, which is unsolved to this day, fueled widespread media coverage, especially after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange suggested that Rich was the person who provided internal DNC emails to WikiLeaks. Rich’s family has called the notion that Rich leaked documents to WikiLeaks a conspiracy theory.

The newly released files show top Department of Justice officials met in 2018 and discussed Rich’s murder. They reviewed Rich’s financial records and did not identify any unusual deposits or withdrawals.

Additionally, none of the witnesses interviewed during the investigation reported to authorities anything unusual about Rich’s life prior to the homicide.

One witness saw an individual walking away from the location where Rich was killed but thought Rich was merely drunk so did not alert authorities. They realized something bad had happened when they saw a bloodstain on the ground in the same place the following day, as well as police tape surrounding the scene.

A person whose name was redacted took Rich’s personal laptop to his house, according to one of the newly released documents. The page also indicates that authorities were not aware if the person deleted or changed anything on Rich’s personal laptop.

The FBI came into possession of Rich’s work laptop, the bureau previously revealed.

On another page, it was said that “given [redacted] it is conceivable that an individual or group would want to pay for his death.”

Biden recognizes Armenian genocide

President Biden
on Saturday formally declared that the massacre of an estimated 1.5 million Armenians by the Ottoman Empire more than a century ago was “genocide,” a move that is likely to exacerbate tensions with Turkey.

In doing so, Biden is fulfilling a campaign promise and becoming the first sitting president since Ronald Reagan to use the term “genocide” to describe the mass killings that occurred during the 20th century at the end of World War I.

“Each year on this day, we remember the lives of all those who died in the Ottoman-era Armenian genocide and recommit ourselves to preventing such an atrocity from ever again occurring,” Biden said in a statement released by the White House.

“Beginning on April 24, 1915, with the arrest of Armenian intellectuals and community leaders in Constantinople by Ottoman authorities, one and a half million Armenians were deported, massacred, or marched to their deaths in a campaign of extermination,” Biden continued. “We honor the victims of the Meds Yeghern so that the horrors of what happened are never lost to history. And we remember so that we remain ever-vigilant against the corrosive influence of hate in all its forms.”

Investigation is launched into 17 YEARS of in-custody death reports by medical examiner who testified that Derek Chauvin did not kill George Floyd

  • Former head medical director Dr. David Fowler’s testimony that Derek Chauvin did not kill George Floyd raised suspicion in the medical world
  • Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh said Friday his office is in talks with Gov Larry Hogan to review all in-custody death reports during Fowler’s 17-year tenure
  • The review comes a day after he received a letter from a former medical examiner in Washington DC raising concerns about Fowler’s testimony
  • Fowler told The Baltimore Sun that he was not aware of any review but defended his office’s work
  • The review would call into question the validity of all of Fowler’s in-custody death reports from 2002 to 2019
  • Included in the time period to be reviewed is the death of Tyrone West, in 2012 and Anton Black, 19, who died in police custody in Greensboro in 2018

A former medical examiner who served as a witness in Derek Chauvin‘s murder trial will have 17 years’ worth of his in-custody death reports independently reviewed after he testified that the cop was not responsible for George Floyd‘s death, officials have announced.

Dr. David Fowler, Maryland’s chief medical examiner from 2002 to 2019, was a key defense witness for Chauvin, who was convicted Tuesday of murder and manslaughter for kneeling on Floyd’s neck for more than nine minutes last May.

During the four-week trial, Fowler testified that the primary cause of Floyd’s death was a sudden heart rhythm disturbance during police restraint due to underlying heart disease, contradicting several experts who said Floyd had died due to a lack of oxygen.

Vaccine Zoomed With Microscope Appears To Show Living Cells/Organisms Mixed In (Video)

  • Puzzled German scientists unable to determine the strange phenomenon they’re witnessing at microscopic level.

Laboratory footage of what is alleged to be Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine shows puzzled German scientists debating what exactly they’re looking at under the microscope, as apparently organisms separate from the viral particles are discovered.

“It is not quite clear to me what we see here,” one scientist said.

“So, this is the content from Pfizer’s vaccine?” a colleague asked.

“This is from Pfizer, yes,” he replied, adding that all the little dots floating about were cells with a nucleus, leading him to wonder what their purpose was.

“Wow, but you don’t know what it is, yet?” the colleague asked.

“No, it could be a Morgellon,” he said, referring to what a National Institute of Health study calls a “skin condition characterized by the presence of multicolored filaments that lie under, are embedded in, or project from skin” that involves the belief that the skin is infected by insects and other objects like string.

Latest USCIRF Report on Religious Freedom Is a Human Rights ‘Bomb’

Numerous countries continue to perpetrate “egregious violations” of citizens’ religious rights, according to the 2021 Annual Report released this week by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF).  The independent, bipartisan commission makes regular recommendations to the U.S. State Department about global threats—nations as well as entities. Despite its troubling findings, the USCIRF report did note that some progress and positive developments occurred in the area of religious rights during 2020.

Good news is cited in countries such as Sudan and Eritrea; for example, “many prisoners of conscience were furloughed or released” due to COVID-19 outbreaks, according to USCIRF Chair Gayle Manchin. Conditions in other countries, however, should continue to raise alarms throughout the federal government, the commission warns.

USCIRF Report Lists Countries of Concern

As it did for almost all aspects of life in 2020, the pandemic affected religious freedom too. While “trying to balance public health concerns alongside the fundamental right to freedom of religion or belief,” Manchin notes, “some governments took advantage of the restrictions to target specific religious communities.” Other governments “literally blamed the COVID-19 virus on a particular religion.” The commission plans to “monitor how countries respond to and recover from COVID-19,” adds Manchin, “and whether the loosening of [public health] restrictions is fair to people of all faiths and nonbelievers.”
