NEW: Capitol Authorities Had Advance Warning Of Jan 6th Riot, But Refused To Act On Intelligence.
New e-mails reveal that authorities at the U.S. Capitol were warned in advance of troublemakers at the Capitol on January 6th, but refused to take action. Their reluctance led to a peaceful rally being turned into a riot and ultimately, a cudgel with which to beat Donald Trump and his supporters.
MSNBC and CNN are both reporting that “[n]ewly revealed internal emails show an outside group warned Capitol security officials one day before the January 6 insurrection about a series of troubling social media posts calling for people to storm the US Capitol and kill federal employees, evidence that concerns about this kind of online chatter were raised in yet another way ahead of the attack but ultimately still dismissed at the time.”
Of a demonstration of hundreds of thousands of people, 400 have now been charged in connection to the riot at the Capitol, and none related to President Trump, his team, nor his most vocal supporters.
Biden Administration Prioritizes “Wokeism,” Critical Race Theory In Schools
There is no constitutional role for the federal government in education.
The Biden administration is taking new steps to promote Critical Race Theory and The New York Times’s controversial 1619 Project in US education programs. In a proposed federal rule issued on Monday, the US Department of Education indicated that it will be using taxpayer funds to award millions of dollars in American history and civics education grants that prioritize the belief that America is systemically racist.
The grant program seeks “projects that incorporate racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse perspectives into teaching and learning,” and refers to President Biden’s Inauguration Day executive order that explains how our country is plagued by “systemic racism” and “deserves an ambitious whole-of-government equity agenda” to address this issue.
The new federal proposed rule refers to the 1619 Project and related curriculum resources as a “landmark” model for US history and civics education, despite its agenda-driven hostility against capitalism, its flawed historical analysis that many scholars have deemed false, and the Times’s own correction of the project.
The grant prioritization also pushes for greater emphasis on “anti-racism” training in schools, and quotes the work of Ibram X. Kendi, author of How to Be an Antiracist.
Successful applicants will demonstrate how their projects emphasize “systemic marginalization, biases, inequities, and discriminatory policy and practice in American history,” and promote “identity-safe learning environments.”
From the 1776 Commission to the 1619 Commission
When former President Trump issued his call for a “1776 Commission” last September to advocate for widespread “patriotic education” in schools across the country, I warned that this was a bad idea. …
Skillet’s John Cooper says moral relativism, ‘woke ideology’ permeating Church is ‘wrecking Christianity’
Skillet frontman John Cooper has issued a blistering condemnation of “woke ideology” and moral relativism he warned has seeped into the Church, urging Christians to be “extremely vigilant about the Word of God” to combat such false doctrine.
During a recent episode of Abby Johnson’s hit podcast, “Politely Rude,” Cooper revealed that a few years ago, he was shocked to find that people didn’t believe in absolute truth anymore.
“I didn’t even know that would be a possibility,” he said. “I studied postmodernism in college, but I never thought that anyone would actually build a society upon it because it’s so untenable.”
“But that is what we have now built society on,” the Grammy-nominated singer said. “And what’s really scary is how that philosophy has entered into Christianity. It doesn’t even make any sense. You can’t believe in God but not believe in absolute truth because one negates the other. Yet that is what’s actually happening in Christianity.”
Now, the rocker said he’s “outspoken” about what he believes are “scary” changes unfolding in culture.
“We need to be extremely vigilant about the Word of God,” he stressed. “We need to be extremely vigilant about what the Bible says because if we are not, then we will begin to read the Bible with that same sort of relativism. And when you do that, you’re not starting from a premise that the Word of God is absolute, that God’s Word is supreme.”
Joe Rogan Is Right: Science Shows Young People Have Mild COVID Symptoms, Worse Vaccine Reactions Than Elderly
Young people experience mild symptoms from COVID-19, but are more likely to experience adverse reactions to the vaccines.
Self made podcaster Joe Rogan recently made national headlines after he suggested that young, healthy people and children have little to gain from taking the COVID-19 vaccine, even provoking an article by the far left Media Matters for America that seemingly pushed Spotify to dump his show. However, the most recent research suggests Rogan is correct.
IRS data proves DEMOCRATS are party of the rich
Dems now pushing for measure that would benefit ‘the 1%’
Democrats complain of “tax cuts for the rich” while pressing to raise rates on the wealthy, but it’s the Democratic Party that is now the “party of the rich,” according to IRS data.
Democrats comprised 65% of taxpayers with a household income of $500,000 or more in 2020, according to IRS data, the Washington Examiner reported.
Meanwhile, 74% of taxpayers in Republican districts have household incomes of less than $100,000.
The perception that the Republicans represent the “fat cats” and the Democrats the poor and middle-class worker nevertheless persists.
