‘Left-Leaning’ Reuters, AP to Be Twitter’s New Fact-Checkers

Twitter announced the two news orgs—with politically “left-leaning” tendencies—will help expand “efforts to identify and elevate credible information” on its platform.

QUICK FACTS:
  • Twitter has signed a deal with both Reuters and The Associated Press (AP) to help elevate what they deem “accurate information,” according to Townhall.
  • “Twitter said they will look to feature information from “reliable” resources, debunk circulating misinformation and explain the site’s trending patterns.”
  • This represents efforts by Twitter to “contextualize developing discourse” before such content goes viral.
WHAT TWITTER SAID:
  • “We are committed to making sure that when people come to Twitter to see what’s happening, they are able to easily find reliable information,” Twitter said in a blog post.
  • “Twitter will be able to expand the scale and increase the speed of our efforts to provide timely, authoritative context across the wide range of global topics and conversations that happen on Twitter every day.”
WHAT TOWNHALL IS SAYING:
  • Townhall—a popular conservative news source—has branded both Reuters and AP as “liberal media outlets” and “left-leaning.”
  • Townhall characterized the move by Twitter as one “that will not exactly ensure trust among individuals outside of the liberal sphere.”
BACKGROUND:
  • Reuters and AP are already fact-checking partners with Facebook, notes Townhall.
  • AllSides.com, which rates the political bias of media outlets, gives a “lean left” rating to AP’s “Politics and Fact Check sections.”
  • AllSides gives Reuters’ fact check section a “center” rating with the caveat, “though there may be some evidence of Lean Left bias, according to a July 2021 Small Group Editorial Review by AllSides editors on the left, center, and right.”
  • “There was some evidence of a slight Lean Left bias,” notes AllSides, “such as this article in which Reuters attempts to fact-check an opinion by adding more context. However, we did not necessarily identify a clear pattern of this because much of Reuters’ content is focused on international issues, not just U.S. politics, and our team is U.S.-based.”

Trump-backed Mike Carey, Wins Ohio U.S. House Race

Carey’s central Ohio win establishes President Trump as a “kingmaker.”

QUICK FACTS:
  • Mike Carey is a coal lobbyist who is backed by Donald Trump.
  • He will now face Democratic state Representative Allison Russo—a health policy consultant who won the Democratic nomination—in the GOP-leaning 15th Congressional District this fall, notes The Associated Press (AP).
  • The political newcomer defeated a group of Republican candidates vying for the same spot in the Columbus-area race, some having the backing of the state political establishment.
  • “Carey’s race reinforced Trump’s status as GOP kingmaker,” comments AP.
  • Although Rep. Jeff LaRe (R) lost to Carey, he nevertheless called for Republicans to “all work together to keep central Ohio red for decades to come.”
WHAT TRUMP SAID:
  • Trump celebrated Carey’s win Tuesday saying in a statement, “Thank you to Ohio and all of our wonderful American patriots,” adding, “Congratulations to Mike and his family. He will never let you down!”
BACKGROUND:
  • “Most want Trump to have at least some influence over their party’s future direction,” notes AP.

Trump: Claim ‘No Evidence of Election Fraud’ is ‘FAKE NEWS’

“This election was a scam, and the Lamestream Media is doing everything in their power not to allow the people to see or read about what really took place.”

QUICK FACTS:
  • President Donald Trump released a statement on Sunday criticizing The New York Times and other media outlets who “always insert a clause into their stories, ‘WITHOUT EVIDENCE, that the election was decided fraudulently.'”
  • “As usual, this is FAKE NEWS,” said Trump.
  • He pointed to “massive and unconditional evidence that the election was shattered with fraud and irregularities” as a refutation of the claim that there was “no evidence of election fraud” in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
  • Trump said Americans should “just attribute that statement to a crooked and collusive media (they work closely together with the Radical Left Democrats) that will do anything to hide the real facts of this election fiasco.”
  • President Trump called on state legislatures to reform their election systems “so that this will NEVER happen again.”
TRUMP’S FULL STATEMENT:

The New York Times, and others, always insert a clause into their stories, “WITHOUT EVIDENCE, that the election was decided fraudulently.” As usual, this is FAKE NEWS.

There is massive and unconditional evidence that the election was shattered with fraud and irregularities at a level that our Country has never seen before. Much of it is already public, and a great deal more is coming out in the very near future. Every time you read a statement that there is “no evidence of election fraud,” about the 2020 election scam, just attribute that statement to a crooked and collusive media (they work closely together with the Radical Left Democrats) that will do anything to hide the real facts of this election fiasco.

After seeing the irrefutable evidence from numerous states, others are talking about doing deep forensic audits. This election was a scam, and the Lamestream Media is doing everything in their power not to allow the people to see or read about what really took place. We no longer have a free and open media (they don’t cover the truth), but the word is getting out stronger than ever before.

Even the Justice Department has no interest in the crooked and corrupt 2020 Presidential Election. They are only interested in hurting those who want to reveal how totally dishonest it was. The Justice Department should be looking at the people who rigged the election, not the Patriots of our Country who are seeking to find how our Nation was defrauded.

We must also look to the future and fight for State Legislatures to reform their elections so that this will NEVER happen again. In the end, truth will WIN!

BACKGROUND:
  • Mike Lindell is offering $5 million to anyone who can disprove his allegations of voter fraud taking place during the 2020 election.
  • Earlier this month, Arizona state Senate President Karen Fann announced that the audit of Maricopa County’s general election ballots had in fact found discrepancies.
  • Yesterday, Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers called for the arrest of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and executives of Dominion Voting Systems for their refusal to comply with Senate-issued subpoenas, according to USA Today.
  • The Biden Justice Department (DOJ) warned jurisdictions across the country currently conducting or considering undertaking post-election audits or recounts like Maricopa County, notes The Washington Times.
  • But the DOJ’s warning “really represent the Biden administration’s latest attempt to squelch investigations into potential voting irregularities, silence critics of the 2020 election, and cement forever the free-for-all COVID voting ‘procedures’ implemented last voting cycle,” argues Margot Cleveland for The Federalist.

2020 Election Audits: Dominion & Maricopa County Defy Arizona GOP’s Subpoenas, DoJ Issues Warning

Last week, the Arizona state Senate requested election materials from Maricopa County and Dominion Voting Systems. However, county officials and voting machine manufacturers refused to comply with the Senate’s latest subpoenas, arguing that they are “invalid.” Earlier, the US DoJ yet again warned the states against conducting 2020 election audits.

Maricopa County’s Board of Supervisors and Dominion Voting Systems have resolutely defied the Arizona state Senate’s subpoenas requesting the election-related materials necessary to complete the audit of the 2020 election results in the state’s most populous county.

On 26 July, Arizona Senate President Karen Fann and Judiciary Committee Chairman Warren Petersen issued two subpoenas particularly seeking ballot envelopes or ballot envelope images, voter records, security keys for election machines, user names, passwords, routers or router images, and splunk logs.

However, in response, Maricopa County officials claimed that they do not have the user names, passwords, or security keys requested for the machines. They also refused to hand over routers or router images, or splunk logs, insisting that doing so would constitute “a security risk.” Ballot envelopes and voter records would be produced only if there’s confirmation “that appropriate security measures are in place”, highlighted the county’s attorney Allister Adel, as quoted by the Epoch Times.

Both Adel and Eric Spencer, a lawyer representing Dominion Voting Systems, noted that the Arizona GOP’s subpoenas were “legally defective”, as they were issued while the state Senate was out of session.

“Because the Subpoena is illegal and unenforceable, Dominion hopes that litigation over the Subpoena will not be necessary,” Spencer wrote. “Should litigation result, however, Dominion intends to pursue all remedies available to it, including (but not necessarily limited to) recovery of its attorneys’ fees, expenses, and damages.”

According to The Epoch Times, the Arizona state Senate is unlikely to vote on formalising the subpoena request in the near term, because, first, the Senate is still not in session and, second, two Arizona state Republicans have recently signalled that they now oppose the audit, which means that any such vote would fail.

However, the refusal of Maricopa officials and Dominion to deliver requested materials does not basically stem from the fact that Fann’s subpoena appears “invalid”. The Maricopa Board of Supervisors similarly refused to fully comply with the state Senate’s previous subpoena request, recognised as legit by Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Timothy Thomason in February 2021.

For its part, Dominion has made it clear that it “is not a public officer or public body and, therefore, has no obligation to make its records available for public inspection”. The company refused to either produce or allow the inspection of any election-related materials owned by it in response to Senate President Fann’s 23 July public record request.

Meanwhile, Maricopa Board of Supervisors Chairman Jack Sellers minced no words in his categorical statement urging the state Senators to “be prepared to defend any accusations of misdeeds in court”: “It is now August of 2021,” he wrote to Arizona Republican senators. “The election of November 2020 is over. If you haven’t figured out that the election in Maricopa County was free, fair, and accurate yet, I’m not sure you ever will.”

DoJ Meddling in State Election Audits, Again

While the Arizona Senate is reportedly preparing a formal response to the county and Dominion, Axios has drawn attention to the fact that the refusal to comply with the subpoenas came just days after the US Justice Department issued a “second warning” to states conducting audits of the 2020 election, called by the agency “the most secure in American history”.

Christian Company Announces Upcoming Alternative To PayPal Following News Of Partnership With ADL

With the advancement of censorship, especially financial curtailment, Christian-owned free speech platform Gab came up with their own alternative payment system, GabPay.

According to a Daily Caller article, ADL and PayPal launched a new project on Monday aimed at identifying and eliminating “extremist and hate movements” on PayPal’s platform.

American Greatness notes that the collaboration, led by the ADL’s “Center on Extremism,” will include the ADL’s research on the use of PayPal’s services by suspected extremists, as well as a commitment to provide results to lawmakers and law enforcement in order to help cut extremist and hate groups off from their funding sources.

Among those that has been barred from using PayPal since 2018 was the social media platform Gab.

On August 1, Gab CEO Andrew Torba shared details about how far they have come in their battle against “global elites” in another of their numerous projects, announcing that they are nearing completion on their alternative to PayPal, GabPay.

“At the moment we are jumping through a lot of legal and regulatory hoops, but things are moving quickly. Building your own Paypal is not as simple as ‘build the software and ship it.’ The software side for GabPay is actually done already and works great. It’s the red tape that takes time,” he explained.

“An alternative to Paypal has never been more important now that the ADL will be combing through your financial transactions and ruining people’s lives for financially supporting people and organizations they don’t like,” he added.

PayPal has blocked Gab from its platform since 2018 and several other payment networks, including Stripe, Square, and Coinbase, have done the same.

Despite running a completely legitimate American company that offers software services and merchandise, Torba said they were also banned from taking credit and debit card payments for the sales of their products on the internet. Fortunately, they had cheques and bitcoin as alternatives.

God used what was intended to be evil for good

Torba stated that he is, in fact, grateful that PayPal suspended Gab for years, since it safeguards their client base from the ADL’s malicious gaze.

“As always, God had a plan and getting banned only led us to build GabPay,” he said.

New York becomes first US city to require proof of Covid-19 vaccination for indoor dining, gyms, & performances

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has announced an aggressive new strategy to get people vaccinated against Covid-19, confirming that activities like indoor dining and attending gyms will soon be exclusively for the inoculated.

“The only way to patronize these establishments indoors will be if you’re vaccinated,” the mayor announced on Tuesday, citing concerns over the fast-spreading Delta variant.

The requirement will be phased in through August and September and will require patrons entering certain establishments to have had at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine. This can be proven through either a vaccination card or vaccination apps.

De Blasio did not get into specifics about how the mandate would be enforced. He said the rules will go into effect on August 16, but inspections won’t be carried out until September 13.

The mayor also previously announced that all city employees will soon be required to be vaccinated by September, or they will have to subject themselves to weekly testing.

Amazon accused of compromising union efforts, workers explore new vote

A National Labor Relations Board official said on Monday that Amazon violated labor laws by exercising illegal influence over workers’ votes during unionization efforts, recommending that the results of the company’s unionization vote in Alabama be overturned.

The official recommended that the Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union’s complaints against Amazon be sustained due to evidence that the company was improperly distributing “vote no” materials while lobbying the influence of supervisors and managers on lower-level employees.

The official also criticized Amazon for its “unilateral decision to cause the United States Postal Service to install a generic unlabeled mail collection box less than 50 feet from the main entrance to its facility, at a location suggested by [Amazon] and immediately beneath the visible surveillance cameras mounted on [Amazon’s] main entrance.”

The location and bizarre design of the ballot collection box muddies the security of the election, and the union argues it may have convinced employees that they were being monitored.

The RWDSU celebrated the step toward a new election.

“The union had charged Amazon with illegal misconduct during the union vote in Bessemer, Alabama,” the RWDSU said in a statement. “In a final step towards a formal decision, the Hearing Officer who presided over the case has determined that Amazon violated labor law; and is recommending that the Regional Director set aside the results of the election and direct a second election.”

Throughout the run-up to the April election, the RWDSU complained that Amazon was suppressing pro-union sentiment and illegally threatening employees.

Now, with the sympathy of the NLRB, the RWDSU is hoping to overturn what they see as an illegitimate election.

“Workers endured an intensive anti-union campaign designed by Amazon to intimidate and interfere with their choice on whether or not to form a union,” the RWDSU continued.

“Today’s recommendation is based on Amazon’s illegal tactics and shows how the company was willing to use any and all tactics, illegal or otherwise, to stop workers from forming a union,” it said. “Workers now await a formal Decision on Objections from the Regional Director, which would include a Direction of a Second Election if the hearing officer’s recommendation is adopted.”

The Left Has A Pedophilia Problem, And It’s Out In The Open

The left is continuing its tradition of destroying society’s sexual morality, now campaigning on multiple fronts for the normalization of pedophilia.

Like many others, I have fond memories of my childhood. Whether I was marching in an Independence Day Parade, binge-watching the Power Rangers, or making gingerbread men for Christmas with my family, I had the chance to enjoy a childhood that preserved my innocence, an innocence that is unique to children and that, once lost, doesn’t return.

A subset of children growing up today will likely recall certain aspects of their childhood very differently. The left has, with a startling degree of success, endeavored to reshape our society by embedding their beliefs within the experience of childhood, overshadowing 4th of July parades with Pride parades, implanting LGBT propaganda in children’s shows, and supplanting gingerbread men with the “genderbread person.”

In isolation, any of these specific incidences would be unsettling, to say the least, but by viewing them in the larger context one reaches a conclusion that is just as unconscionable as it is unavoidable. It isn’t just that controversial beliefs are being thrust into childhood experiences, but that the natural curiosity, openness, and naivety that is the inherent disposition of youth is being hijacked to normalize a divergent sexual ethic.

This interest in children s not purely ideological, however. With increasing frequency, the obvious has become undeniable. Those who have a creepy obsession with involving children in their sexual tastes, and use any avenue at their disposal to do so, either have a direct sexual interest in children or want to run cover for those who do. The left has a pedophilia problem, and it’s only getting worse.

I was made painstakingly aware of this fact when I attended the 2019 San Francisco Pride Parade to interview attendees for my YouTube channel, which I co-host with a friend. One particularly honest marcher told my co-host that he is “down for the kink with kids,” mentioning later that he believed that “age is a construct.”

Another demonstrator informed me that child involvement in drag is “so cool” and that “there should be more kids doing drag” before saying that the statement “love has no age” is “100 percent true” and letting loose a Freudian slip when he admitted that a child drag queen who performed in a gay night club was paid in the same manner “you do with strippers.”

In case you have the impression that this is an isolated incident, take a look at this mashup of Vice headlines, which in several instances attempt to generate sympathy for pedophiles, obfuscate the definition of pedophilia, and confer legitimacy to “non-offending” pedophiles, including one pseudonymously named Ian whose job “involved children directly” and another called Gary, a man who “developed feelings for a three-year-old girl” but calls himself a “virtuous” pedophile who supposedly doesn’t act on his attraction. Gary was also a foster parent to three children and was subsequently accused of sexually assaulting one of the young girls.

These articles offer some rather striking context for other articles from Vice, such as one in which they fawn over “Photos of the Fabulous Kids of RuPaul’s Drag Convention,” which the publication describes with a fire emoji. As mentioned earlier, one of these children danced on stage for money in a New York City gay bar for a crowd of adult men, which was caught in a video that I can’t link in good conscience.

Lest you believe that Vice is alone in their attempt to normalize pedophilia, turn your attention to the New York Times article “What’s the Best Way to Protect Sex Workers? Depends on Whom You Ask” which opens with the line “TS Candii first traded sex at age 13.” No, New York Times. That’s called pedophilia, not trading sex.

The article reports glowingly on the pedophilic, serial rape of a child who turned to prostitution after “she was forced out of her family home” before “taking refuge with a group of older transgender women who became her mentors” and “taught her how to support herself through sex.”

Normal people would think this sounds a whole lot like a group of perverts pimping out a homeless child for sex. One has to ponder why euphemisms are being used to try and obscure that reality. Perhaps it is because the left has a pedophilia problem.

This type of perversion isn’t an isolated incident in the corporate media, either, with The Washington Post recently running a piece called “Yes, kink belongs at Pride. And I want my kids to see it” that is just as disgusting as the headline makes it sound.

Associate professor at Yale University Joe Fischel echoed this sentiment in his article “Keep Pride Nude” where he asks “What is the presumptive harm if a child …. sees an adult’s butt cheeks, or even an adult’s genitals or breasts?” Fischel then goes on to advocate for children to be exposed to a whole host of other perversions and speaks the language of groomers, which I detail in a previous article. He even tries to justify his perversity when he says “children might like it.”

The New York Times, Washington Post, and Yale faculty aren’t the only powerful players attempting to normalize pedophilia. Flora Gill, a biweekly columnist on “sex and relationships” who writes for GQ.co.uk, called for the creation of “porn for children,” which she calls “entry level porn,” in a now deleted tweet.

FDA Authorizes Antibody Cocktail as COVID-19 Prevention Treatment

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized a monoclonal antibody cocktail as a measure to prevent infection in some groups of people who were exposed to the CCP virus, the pathogen that causes COVID-19.

The FDA on Friday announced that it had revised its emergency use authorization (EUA) for REGEN-COV, a treatment consisting of jointly administered casirivimab and imdevimab, expanding its use beyond just the treatment of patients who test positive for the virus.

While the product remains authorized for treating confirmed COVID-19 patients over age 12 who are at high risk of severe illness, the agency said the drug combo can now be given to high-risk groups as a measure after exposure to prevent progression of the disease.

The antibody treatment is only authorized for use in people who have been exposed to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, not as a pre-exposure preventive measure, the FDA said.

The agency added that REGEN-COV should only be used as a post-exposure prophylaxis by people who are not fully vaccinated or whose immune systems are unlikely to mount an adequate response to the virus, like those who take immunosuppressive medications or who are otherwise immunocompromised.

Super Spreader Event: Obama Reportedly Plans Big Birthday Party With Hundreds Of Guests

Ex-President Barack Hussein Obama turns 60 on Wednesday, and he’s reportedly splurging on a star-studded birthday bash at his family’s beachfront house on Martha’s Vineyard this weekend. The house is worth approximately $12 million.

According to Axios, the birthday bash is scheduled to attract 475 attendees, including friends, relatives, and former Obama advisers, as well as over 200 staff members.

Media elites are rumored by Axios to be attending as well.

Pearl Jam will perform at the celebration, and movie director Steven Spielberg will be among the guests. According to The Hill, which originally revealed preparations for the party last week, Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney were also invited.

The party coincides with growing fears about the spread of COVID-19’s Delta variant. Recent evidence suggests that vaccinated people can still catch and transmit the Delta variant.

Journalist Peter Doocy caught White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki off-guard at Monday’s press briefing when he asked her about Obama’s party.
