Trump Blasts Dem Cities After Ukrainian Woman’s Brutal Death

President Donald Trump released a video statement condemning the policies within Democrat-run cities following the death of Iryna Zarutska as she rode a train in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“For far too long, Americans have been forced to put up with Democrat-run cities that set loose savage, bloodthirsty criminals to prey on innocent people. And they’ve adopted a policy of catch and release for thugs and killers. In Charlotte, North Carolina, we saw the results of these policies when a 23-year-old woman who came here from Ukraine, met her bloody end on a public train,” Trump said.

President Trump declared that the young woman “had a magnificent future in this country.”

Discussing the horror of her death, the president stated, “We cannot allow a depraved criminal element of violent repeat offenders to continue spreading destruction and death throughout our country. We have to respond with force and strength. We have to be vicious, just like they are. It’s the only thing they understand.”

“Twenty-four of the top 25 most dangerous cities in America are run by Democrat mayors. 50 people were murdered in Chicago in recent weeks with hundreds being shot,” he said. “And it’s time to stop this madness.”

The White House released a statement on Monday condemning Charlotte’s “woke agendas that fail to protect their citizens when they need them the most.”

Listing several of the woke policies, the White House described a 2020 initiative from the Charlotte City Council to “reimagine” policing, as well as another 2020 effort that established the Task Force for Racial Equity in Criminal Justice.”

New Jan 6 Appointments Signal Renewed War on Trump

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced the appointments of several Democrats to the January 6 subcommittee, with Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) serving as its Ranking Member.

Reps. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) will serve on the subcommittee, while Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) will serve as an ex officio member.

“Instead of lowering costs for everyday Americans, House Republicans are once again trying to rewrite history and corrupt our electoral system. House Democrats will continue to forcefully and aggressively push back, as we did with Donald Trump’s second impeachment and the work done by the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol,” Jeffries said in a statement. “We will not allow Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans to whitewash the violence and vile attack on the American way of life that occurred on January 6th.”

The appointments follow House Republicans moving to create a select subcommittee to revisit the January 6 investigations. It will be chaired by Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA).

“I am honored to continue the investigation into the events surrounding January 6, 2021, and the failures that led to the breach of the U.S. Capitol. From my subcommittee investigation in the 118th Congress, we uncovered that what happened at the Capitol that day was the result of a series of intelligence, security, and leadership failures at multiple levels within numerous entities,” Loudermilk said in July after Republicans introduced a resolution establishing the the subcomittee.

“While my subcommittee did an incredible job last Congress, there is still much work to be done. I appreciate Speaker Johnson entrusting me to continue this important investigation, and I look forward to working with Chairman Jordan and his team,” he continued. “It is vital that we continue to uncover the facts and begin the task of making needed reforms to ensure this level of security failure may never happen again.”

Zohran Mamdani Leads Cuomo in Potential One-On-One Race New Poll Shows

A new poll reveals that socialist Zohran Mamdani could seize New York City’s mayoralty, even against political heavyweight and former New York governor, Andrew Cuomo. According to a Siena Research/NY Times survey, Mamdani leads Cuomo 48 to 44 in a hypothetical two-man race, despite Cuomo’s attempts to consolidate support from moderate Democrats and Republicans.

“The big ‘if’ is what would happen if both Sliwa and Adams were to drop out of the race and make it a two-person showdown,” said Siena director Don Levy. He noted that Cuomo would gain older voters, but Mamdani’s dominance among the young and far-left base would carry him forward.

The poll also showed Mamdani crushing current Mayor Eric Adams 55 to 35 in a head-to-head contest. Curtis Sliwa, the Republican nominee, insists he will stay in the race, rejecting speculation about joining a Trump administration. Meanwhile, Adams has floated taking a federal appointment to bow out gracefully.

Mamdani, a Democratic Socialist, represents the radical shift in urban politics where voters prioritize left-wing economic promises over law and order. Levy explained, “Mamdani holds a huge lead among younger voters while voters 45 and older are split.”

The takeaway is grim for New Yorkers worried about crime, taxes, and declining quality of life: socialism is no longer a fringe idea in America’s largest city. As Levy warned, “Mamdani could continue to ride his support among young voters and voters concerned about economic issues all the way to Gracie Mansion.”

Leftist Media Misdirection: Legacy Outlets Downplay Murder of Ukrainian Refugee

Republicans are calling out leftist media misdirection after the brutal stabbing of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte, N.C. Instead of focusing on the killer—a repeat offender with a long criminal history—Democrats and the media have attacked conservatives for daring to highlight the obvious failure of soft-on-crime policies.

The suspect, Decarlos Brown, was a mentally unstable homeless man who should have been behind bars. Yet Democrats in Charlotte, led by Mayor Vi Lyles, rushed to frame the tragedy not as a failure of law enforcement but as a failure of “social safety nets related to mental healthcare.” Incredibly, Lyles initially failed to even mention Zarutska’s name, focusing instead on defending the criminal class.

Meanwhile, Axios lamented that Republicans were “drawing repeated attention” to the crime, as though demanding justice for a murdered young woman were somehow indecent. CNN’s Brian Stelter dismissed conservative outrage as “baldly racist,” even while admitting there were “legitimate questions about this so-called career criminal.”

But the truth is undeniable: Democrats and their media allies would rather police speech than criminals. As surveillance footage spreads online, it provides what Axios fears most—a “visual counterpoint” to the narrative that crime is down.

Charlotte’s leaders can issue statements about equity, but Zarutska’s death proves what Americans already know: protecting law-abiding citizens should come before coddling repeat offenders.

Cruz Says Biden Violated Constitution in Autopen Scandal

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has accused former President Joe Biden of violating constitutional requirements through the administration’s extreme use of the autopen. In a letter sent to Attorney General Pam Bondi and obtained by Fox News, Cruz explained that “core Constitutional requirements, considerations, and expectations were demolished in the final months of the Biden administration for partisan and personal motives by President Biden, his family, and his top officials.”

According to the presidential pardon authority as listed under Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution, there must be a direct line of a pardon from the president. “Everyone involved in the process — government officials purporting to issue a pardon, the person to whom it is being granted, judicial and law enforcement officials, and most of all the American people — should have absolute confidence a pardon was granted at the president’s explicit direction,” explained Cruz.

“If the integrity of the clemency process was broken by Biden officials, such that the relevant actions were not taken at the President’s direction,” he noted, “the status of the pardons and commutations would at a minimum be cast into doubt, and the officials involved in approving and using the autopens should be held accountable.”

Biden admitted to The New York Times in July that he did not individually approve each name for the categorical pardons affecting large groups of people, although he defended the use of the autopen.

“I made every decision,” he told the outlet in a phone call, adding that the autopen was used because “we’re talking about a whole lot of people.”

According to emails reviewed by The Times, an aide sent a draft of decisions to an assistant of Biden’s Chief of Staff, Jeffrey Zients. The chief of staff, copying those involved in the meeting, wrote in an email, “I approve the use of the autopen for the execution of all of the following pardons.”

Rep. Addison McDowell (R-NC) has introduced a bill addressing abuse of the autopen amid investigations into its overuse during the Biden administration. Under the legislation, the United States Code would be amended to add the following: ‘‘Notwithstanding this section or any other provision of law, no person other than the President may lawfully sign an engrossed bill, Executive Order, or pardon or commutation, nor may automatic signing device, including an autopen, be used for such purpose.’’

Biden Family Inc: James Biden, Secret Service Emerging Scandal

A new bombshell report exposes an emerging scandal that raises troubling questions about the Biden family’s ties to China and their willingness to bend the rules for profit. According to the Department of Justice inspector general, Joe Biden’s younger brother, James Biden, hired a retired Secret Service agent to check whether Chinese energy executive Patrick Ho faced a U.S. arrest warrant—despite telling Congress last year he had “no idea” about any investigation.

In November 2017, Biden texted the investigator: “Have info on an individual. I need a background on one specific issue.” The retired agent later told the FBI that Biden said Ho wanted to travel to the U.S. but feared arrest. Just days later, the FBI arrested Ho in New York on bribery charges, confirming Biden’s insider concerns.

The report suggests Biden may have lied under oath when he testified his background check on Ho was only for his “own edification.” House Republicans had specifically asked whether it was to uncover a federal investigation, and Biden flatly replied, “I have no idea.”

CEFC China Energy, the firm employing Ho, paid former first son Hunter Biden and his uncle James Biden more than $5 million in 2017, raising alarms about foreign influence. Hunter himself once referred to Ho as “the fucking spy chief of China.”

PIX 11 Editor’s Al Jazeera Ties, Mamdani Support Add to Concerns of Media Political Bias

A PIX 11 video editor’s al Jazeera ties are raising serious questions about political bias inside New York City’s local media. Joshua Kaitan Lucas, who joined PIX 11 in May 2024, has openly campaigned for Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani despite Nexstar Media Group’s strict ban on political activity for journalists.

Lucas posted a video on Instagram urging voters, “Don’t rank Cuomo,” while tagging Mamdani, and appeared in the candidate’s social media campaign photos. In another post, he declared, “The world can be what we make it.” These actions directly contradict Nexstar’s own code of conduct, which warns employees against compromising “objectivity” or casting “doubt on the Company’s integrity.”

But Lucas’s activism goes beyond city politics. In a YouTube video, he smeared President Donald Trump’s efforts to clean up Washington, D.C., comparing his policies to Nazi Germany. He wrote on Facebook, “If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, acts like a duck, then it’s a concentration camp,” and accused America under Trump of sliding into totalitarianism.

Lucas’s background only deepens concerns. His LinkedIn profile highlights his past work at Al Jazeera, where he admitted he sought “an embedded perspective of how the organization runs.” Al Jazeera has long been criticized as a propaganda arm of the Qatari government, and Lucas’s embrace of its training raises alarms about the influence of foreign bias in American newsrooms.

As Nexstar itself makes clear, “Nexstar journalists at all levels refrain from political activity.” When their own staffers defy that standard, accountability is not optional—it is necessary.

Terrorist Sympathies Haunt Maine Democrat in Decisive Election

Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner’s terrorist sympathies are raising alarm in Maine as he challenges Republican incumbent Sen. Susan Collins.

Platner, who has accused Israel of genocide and refused to condemn Hamas after the Oct. 7 massacre of 1,200 Israelis, defended extremists in a post-9/11 op-ed. In the Nov. 25, 2002, Bangor Daily News piece, Platner and classmates argued that “one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” and complained that “every terrorist is portrayed as evil.”

The op-ed chastised the media for “incomplete coverage” of terrorist groups, even accusing Israel of playing the victim. Platner and his co-authors insisted that ending terror required understanding the “circumstances under which they were committed.” Weeks before, Platner protested President George W. Bush, shouting during his speech: “Don’t attack Iraq. If our best generals tell us not to go to war, why should we?”

Now, more than 20 years later, Platner embraces those radical views. On the campaign trail, he touts being voted “Most Likely to Start a Revolution” in high school, posing with a sign demanding freedom for Chechnya, Kosovo, and “Palestine.” Endorsed by Sen. Bernie Sanders, Platner has become a favorite of the far left.

Republicans warn his views show a dangerous pattern. And with Maine’s Senate seat critical to control of Congress, the upcoming election could be decisive.

New Bill Demands ‘In God We Trust’ in Every Federal Building

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) introduced a bill that would place the national motto of the United States, “In God We Trust,” on all federal buildings.

Should the bill pass, the General Services Administration (GSA) would have one year to display the national motto in a prominent place in all federal buildings.

“Our national motto goes all the way back to the days of President Lincoln. Congress adopted ‘In God We Trust’ as our national motto in 1956 during the rise of atheist communism, and it remains our national motto today,” Hawley said in a statement. “The In God We Trust Act will ensure that the federal government—as well as the American people for whom it works—never forgets the ultimate source of the liberty and prosperity this country enjoys. As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, this bill would restore faith to its rightful place in the halls of government.”

Hawley’s bill comes as President Trump announced the “America Prays” initiative ahead of the nation’s 250th celebration. “Next year, we will celebrate 250 years since that Declaration was signed. As part of the grand commemoration… we’ve invited America’s great faith communities to pray for our nation, for our people, and for peace in the world, and it’s going to be an amazing time,” Trump said.

The America Prays webpage asks, “What if one million Americans dedicated one hour a week to praying for our country and our people?” It goes on to encourage Americans to gather with at least 10 people weekly to pray for the nation.

“This dedicated time of prayer is not only for our nation, but for its people because a nation is only as strong as its citizens,” the page declares.

Stefanik, Blackburn Move to End Nationwide Cashless Bail Disaster

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) introduced legislation Monday to combat what she called the cashless bail disaster, aligning her efforts with President Donald Trump’s executive order to abolish the policy nationwide.

The two bills—one for Washington, D.C., and one for the rest of the nation—mirror companion legislation in the Senate introduced by Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN). “Today, Sen. Marsha Blackburn and I are working alongside President Trump to end the cashless bail disaster. We can’t allow arrested individuals who are awaiting trial to be released back onto the streets to commit more crimes against their communities,” Stefanik said.

Blackburn echoed that warning, noting cashless bail has “empowered violent criminals across our country, putting the lives of law-abiding citizens at risk.”

Evidence backs them up. A 2023 study by the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office in California found that suspects released without bail committed 163 percent more crimes—and 200 percent more violent crimes—than those who posted bail. Real-world examples highlight the danger: in Washington, D.C., a Jewish man was brutally attacked by a suspect who had been released on cashless bail just days earlier.

In New York, Stefanik blasted Gov. Kathy Hochul for allowing a Guatemalan national facing multiple felony charges to walk free after allegedly selling drug-laced gummies that hospitalized 12 students. “Under Kathy Hochul’s failed leadership, cashless bail policies in New York pose a clear and present danger to the Nation and must be terminated,” Stefanik said.
