Pro-Israel Groups Take on Albanese in Defamation Lawsuit

A groundbreaking defamation lawsuit has been filed against Francesca Albanese, the United Nations’ so-called Palestinian rights envoy, after she waged what plaintiffs describe as a “defamatory, derogatory, and hateful” campaign against two U.S.-based pro-Israel groups.

The Christian Friends of Israeli Communities and Christians for Israel allege Albanese “knowingly spread malicious lies” when she accused them of facilitating “gross violations of human rights” and even “tax fraud” for their support of Israel. The suit claims her threats damaged their reputations and financial stability, warranting both compensatory and punitive damages.

Albanese issued the threats while her UN mandate had expired, undermining her claim to diplomatic immunity. The plaintiffs argue her “mandate legally expired on April 30, 2025,” making her personally liable for the letters and her subsequent report, provocatively titled From economy of occupation to economy of genocide.

The case has the potential to strike at the long-abused shield of diplomatic immunity. As George Mason University law professor Eugene Kontorovich noted, “Some of the vilest antisemites and terror supporters have sought to shield themselves from accountability for their actions by hiding behind the UN flag.”

Rachel Sebbag, litigation counsel for the plaintiffs, put it plainly: “If a racist anti-Semite gains a position of power and proceeds to abuse the public platform she enjoys … she can and should be held liable for defamation.”

Another Medical Group Pushes COVID Vax for All in Defiance of Trump Admin

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) is encouraging all adults, including pregnant women, to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

“History shows us that vaccines have eradicated diseases that were disabling and deadly in the past, and we can keep it that way, if we continue to vaccinate,” said Margot Savoy, AAFP’s chief medical officer. “Protecting public health is our collective responsibility. This fall and always, the AAFP stands with our members and public health partners to promote vaccine confidence and uptake.”

Similarly, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) issued new guidance that recommends that children under the age of two receive the COVID-19 vaccine, despite the Trump administration’s shift away from such recommendations. The AAP has also released an updated policy statement arguing that universal immunization for children is necessary for safety, stating that non-medical exemptions to vaccines are a “deeply problematic tool.”

The statement, centering on vaccines for children attending school, claimed that “exempting children for nonmedical reasons from immunizations is problematic for medical, public health, and ethical reasons and creates unnecessary risk to both individuals and communities.”

The medical organizations’ claims stand in contrast to efforts made by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who recently announced that the FDA revoked the emergency use authorization for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Kennedy said he made four major promises: ending vaccine mandates, keeping vaccines available for those who want them, implementing placebo-controlled trials, and ending the emergency for COVID-19.

“In a series of FDA actions today we accomplished all four goals,” Kennedy said. “The emergency use authorizations for Covid vaccines, once used to justify broad mandates on the general public during the Biden administration, are now rescinded.”

“FDA has now issued marketing authorization for those at higher risk: Moderna (6+ months), Pfizer (5+), and Novavax (12+). These vaccines are available for all patients who choose them after consulting with their doctors,” he continued. “The American people demanded science, safety, and common sense. This framework delivers all three.”

LeBron James’s China Propaganda: NBA Star Praises CCP in People’s Daily

NBA superstar LeBron James has sparked outrage with his latest move: publishing an essay in the Chinese Communist Party’s People’s Daily. The piece amounts to blatant pro-China propaganda, with the Lakers forward praising “China’s basketball scene” and pledging to “contribute to the development of Chinese basketball.”

James gushed that he was “deeply moved by the hospitality and friendliness of our Chinese friends” during his 15 trips to China. He added, “I also feel a deep sense of responsibility to promote sports exchange,” presenting himself as a bridge between East and West. But critics see his words as little more than cover for pushing sneakers in the world’s largest market.

For Beijing, the essay is a propaganda victory. People’s Daily has long served as a mouthpiece for the CCP, publishing lines such as the “‘Xinjiang genocide’ claim biggest lie of the century,” while running pieces that excuse Russia’s war in Ukraine and spread disinformation about COVID-19.

This isn’t the first time James has sided with Beijing over freedom. When Houston Rockets executive Daryl Morey voiced support for Hong Kong’s pro-democracy protesters, James blasted him as “misinformed” and claimed Morey “wasn’t educated.” He even argued, “So many people could have been harmed, not only financially but physically, emotionally, spiritually.”

The reality is clear: LeBron’s billion-dollar Nike deal speaks louder than his activism. And as one CCP-controlled paper benefits from his words, Americans are left asking who he really plays for.

Judge Slams Brakes on ICE Return to Rikers Island

New York State Supreme Court Justice Mary Rosado blocked New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ executive order allowing immigration agents to operate on Rikers Island.

“The Court need not reach whether there actually was a conflict of interest because the timeline of public statements and the ongoing criminal prosecution so clearly demonstrate an impermissible appearance of a conflict of interest,” the judge wrote of Adams’ order, referring to his decision to allow ICE onto the island following federal prosecutors dropping a criminal investigation into his office. “The appearance of this conflict and Mayor Adams’ failure to recuse himself fully tainted the entire process by which Executive Order No. 50 was issued, making it null and void,” Rosado continued.

The New York City Council issued a statement following the judge’s order, calling it a “major win” that “strengthens public safety in our city and the Constitutional rights of all New Yorkers.”

“Trump’s political agenda of using ICE to disappear residents without due process and separate families harms our communities and undermines our collective safety,” the statement read. “We’re pleased that the court recognized Mayor Adams and Randy Mastro’s attempt to do Trump’s bidding and betray their obligation to New Yorkers as unlawful. This decision protects the civil rights of all New Yorkers from being violated and makes our city safer.”

In 2014, then-Mayor Bill de Blasio signed laws limiting New York City’s cooperation with federal immigration practices, ending the ability for ICE to be present at Rikers Island.

The April order explained that Rikers Island is the “site of correctional facilities under the jurisdiction of the DOC and currently houses members and associates of designated terrorist organizations among other individuals incarcerated there,” noting there is “historical precedent for federal law enforcement authorities to have office space and personnel on Rikers Island as recently as a decade ago.”

Elderly Arkansas Man Mauled in Shocking Bear Attack

A shocking Arkansas bear attack has left a 72-year-old man in critical condition and reignited concerns over rising wildlife dangers. Vernon Patton was mauled by a 70-pound bear in Franklin County before being airlifted to Washington Regional Medical Center. He later underwent surgery and was transferred to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he remains hospitalized.

“His injuries were extensive,” Arkansas Game and Fish Commission spokesperson Keith Stephens told Fox News Digital. Stephens added, “It was a pretty severe attack. It attacked him on his face, his arms, his upper body.”

The assault was historic in its rarity. “This incident is highly unusual, as there have been no documented bear attacks on humans in Arkansas in at least 25 years,” Stephens told USA Today, noting the last attack may have been in the 19th century.

Patton’s son intervened, throwing rocks to drive the bear off. The animal even charged at him before retreating. Officials later euthanized the bear. “If we have an animal that attacked a human being, you’ve got to put it down,” Stephens told the Arkansas Times. “You can’t have that happening again.”

France’s Debt Crisis Deepens as Government Collapses After No-Confidence Vote

France is sliding deeper into turmoil as the nation’s debt crisis triggers yet another government collapse. As anticipated, French Prime Minister François Bayrou lost his no-confidence vote Monday, a 194-364 defeat that made him the fourth head of government to fall in under two years.

This marks the second collapse under President Emmanuel Macron in just 12 months, the first time since 1953 that a French leader has endured such chaos. Bayrou’s plan to cut €44 billion in spending and scrap two public holidays failed to convince either the left or right, leaving France’s staggering debt—already over 116% of GDP—unaddressed. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) projects that debt could surge past 128% by 2030.

“The biggest risk was not to take one, to let things continue without anything changing,” Bayrou warned parliament before his ouster. He called France’s fiscal burden “life-threatening.”

The fallout could be dire. Patrick Martin, head of France’s largest business federation, warned instability could spark a “freezing of investments, loss of confidence, increased risk of bankruptcies, and job destruction.”

Meanwhile, National Rally(RN) leader Marine Le Pen has seized the moment, declaring that snap elections are “not an option but an obligation.” Polls already show her party gaining strength, while 64% of French voters want Macron himself gone.

In an address before the vote, Bayrou warned MPs they could “overthrow the government, but not “erase reality.”

“Reality will remain relentless: expenses will continue to rise, and the burden of debt, already unbearable, will grow heavier and more costly,” he said.

U.S. Citizens Ordered to Shelter as Israel Strikes Hamas in Qatar

Israel launched a strike targeting Hamas’ leadership in Qatar, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announces on X.

“The IDF and [Israel Security Agency] conducted a precise strike targeting the senior leadership of the Hamas terrorist organization. For years, these members of the Hamas leadership have led the terrorist organization’s operations, are directly responsible for the brutal October 7 massacre, and have been orchestrating and managing the war against the State of Israel,” the IDF said. “Prior to the strike, measures were taken in order to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and additional intelligence. The IDF and ISA will continue to operate with determination in order to defeat the Hamas terrorist organization responsible for the October 7 massacre.”

Qatari spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majed Al Ansari condemned the strike, calling it a “cowardly Israeli attack that targeted residential headquarters housing several members of the political bureau of the movement in the Qatari capital, Doha.”

“This criminal assault constitutes a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, and a serious threat to the security and safety of Qataris and residents in Qatar,” he wrote, adding that Qatar “will not tolerate this reckless Israeli behavior and the continuous tampering with the region’s security, nor any action targeting its security and sovereignty. Investigations are ongoing at the highest level, and further details will be announced as soon as they become available.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement on the matter. “Today’s action against the top terrorist chieftains of Hamas was a wholly independent Israeli operation,” he said. “Israel initiated it, Israel conducted it, and Israel takes full responsibility.”

The U.S. Embassy in Qatar issued a shelter-in-place order for U.S. citizens in the area, citing “missile impacts in Doha.”

DEA Sweep Captures Over 600 Suspected Sinaloa Cartel Members in 23 States

Federal authorities have announced the arrest of more than 600 suspected members and associates of the Sinaloa Cartel following a nationwide enforcement surge. The coordinated Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) operation spanned 23 field divisions between August 25 and August 29, striking at one of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations.

The sweep resulted in 617 arrests across the country. Agents seized 480 kilograms of fentanyl powder, 2,209 kilograms of methamphetamine, 7,469 kilograms of cocaine, 16.5 kilograms of heroin, and over 714,000 counterfeit pills. Authorities also confiscated 420 firearms and more than $11 million in cash linked to cartel operations.

In New England alone, the crackdown produced 171 arrests. Agents confiscated 244 kilograms of narcotics, 22,115 counterfeit pills, $1.3 million in cash, and 33 firearms. State totals included 64 arrests in Connecticut, 49 in Massachusetts, 33 in New Hampshire, 11 in Maine, 10 in Rhode Island, and three in Vermont.

DEA Administrator Terrance Cole praised the operation, stating that “every kilogram of poison seized, every dollar stripped from the cartels, and every arrest we make represents lives saved and communities defended.” He vowed that the agency will not relent until the cartel is dismantled “from top to bottom.”

The operation comes amid heightened federal pressure on Mexican cartels following recent high-level prosecutions, including the guilty plea of longtime cartel boss Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada in New York. The Trump administration has made cartel enforcement a central priority, linking the crisis directly to record drug overdoses and rising violence in U.S. cities.

For law enforcement, the sweep represents one of the largest coordinated blows against the Sinaloa Cartel on American soil. For families and communities, the seizure of massive quantities of fentanyl and meth underscores the deadly reach of cartel networks—and the high stakes of keeping them out of American neighborhoods.

Justice Barrett Pushes Back on Partisan Attacks: ‘We Wear Black, Not Red or Blue’

Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett is rejecting claims that the Court is controlled by partisan politics. In a Fox News interview tied to the release of her new book, Listening to the Law, Barrett said the justices “wear black, not red or blue,” underscoring her view that the Court’s mission is rooted in constitutional law rather than political loyalty.

Barrett addressed the frequent criticism that the Court is split along party lines. She explained that new clerks are often surprised to discover how different the reality inside the Court is compared to the public perception. According to Barrett, while outcomes in controversial cases often fuel accusations of partisanship, the justices approach their work as neutral arbiters, not political actors.

When asked about the 2022 Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade, Barrett clarified that the ruling did not outlaw abortion but returned the issue to the democratic process. She said the Court’s role was to interpret the Constitution, not to impose policy preferences, and emphasized that Dobbs restored authority to state legislatures and the people.

Barrett also pointed to the enduring influence of the Court’s rulings beyond current administrations. She noted that decisions today will guide the presidency and the country for years to come, further demonstrating the Court’s responsibility to rule with consistency rather than political expedience.

The justice additionally raised concerns about safety, warning that threats against federal judges have sharply increased. She stated that violence should never be considered an acceptable “cost of public service,” urging Americans to respect judicial independence and the rule of law.

Barrett’s comments highlight the Court’s efforts to defend its legitimacy amid rising political hostility and ongoing public distrust of its decisions. Her reminder that justices wear black robes—not partisan colors—serves as a symbolic rejection of efforts to paint the Court as a political branch.

Clinton Letter Found in Epstein Birthday Book Released by House Oversight

The House Oversight Committee has released new files from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, including a “birthday book” prepared by Ghislaine Maxwell for Epstein’s 50th birthday in 2003. Among the entries is a handwritten letter from former President Bill Clinton, drawing renewed scrutiny of his long-rumored ties to Epstein.

The book also contained a sexually suggestive sketch and message signed “Donald,” which the Wall Street Journal claimed was written by President Trump. President Trump has forcefully denied the allegation, stating that the signature is a forgery and filing a defamation lawsuit against the paper. The document’s inclusion in the estate’s records has fueled debate about authenticity and accountability, but its release highlights the explosive nature of Epstein’s connections to political and cultural elites.

Other materials provided to the committee include Epstein’s will, financial records, and a copy of the 2008 non-prosecution agreement that allowed him to avoid federal charges at the time. Lawmakers say these documents are part of an ongoing effort to uncover the full scope of Epstein’s network and the individuals who maintained ties with him before and after his criminal convictions.

Clinton has previously acknowledged flying on Epstein’s private jet several times for official work related to the Clinton Foundation, but has denied ever visiting Epstein’s private island or engaging in improper conduct. The resurfacing of his letter adds to a growing record of evidence showing the depth of his relationship with the disgraced financier.

The Oversight Committee’s release underscores the demand for transparency in how influential public figures interacted with Epstein.
