Trump Demands Death Penalty for Charlotte Train Killer, Slams “Catch and Release” Policies

President Donald Trump is calling for the death penalty for Decarlos Brown Jr., the man accused of brutally murdering 23-year-old Ukrainian immigrant Iryna Zarutska in a train stabbing last month in Charlotte, North Carolina. Trump made the statement Wednesday morning on Truth Social, condemning the suspect and the liberal criminal justice system that released him prior to the killing.

“The ANIMAL who so violently killed the beautiful young lady from Ukraine… should be given a ‘Quick’ (there is no doubt!) Trial, and only awarded THE DEATH PENALTY. There can be no other option!!!” Trump wrote.

Zarutska was reportedly heading home after a shift at a pizzeria on August 22 when she was attacked on the Charlotte metro train. Newly released footage shows Brown pulling a knife and stabbing her in the neck without provocation while she looked at her phone.

Brown had been arrested earlier in 2024 but was released without bail by a liberal judge—despite a long history of criminal behavior. Over the last 14 years, Brown accumulated 14 charges, including armed robbery, felony larceny, and breaking and entering. He previously served five years for a robbery with a deadly weapon.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt highlighted how North Carolina’s far-left criminal justice reforms contributed to Zarutska’s death. She pointed to the 2020 racial equity task force established by then-Gov. Roy Cooper and led by current Gov. Josh Stein, which advocated for ending cash bail, de-emphasizing felony crimes, and prioritizing “restorative justice.”

Trump directly linked the tragedy to Democrat policies. “In every place they control—radical left judges, politicians, and activists—they’ve adopted a policy of catch and release for thugs and killers,” he said in a video message. “In Charlotte… a 23-year-old woman who came here from Ukraine met her bloody end on a public train.”

American Flags to Be Flown Half Mast in Honor of Charlie Kirk

President Donald Trump announced that the American flag will be flown at half mast through Sunday evening.

“In honor of Charlie Kirk, a truly Great American Patriot, I am ordering all American Flags throughout the United States lowered to Half Mast until Sunday evening at 6 P.M.,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

After Kirk’s passing, Trump wrote, “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead.”

“No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”

Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was shot during a student event at Utah Valley University. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later passed away.

“We had a speaker, Charlie Kirk, who was invited by a student group, Turning Point USA, who was speaking on campus today at noon,” UVU spokesperson Ellen Treanor said in a statement earlier Wednesday. “At about 12:20 shots were fired from a building about 200 yards from the speaker. To the best of our knowledge, the individual was hit and was taken away immediately by his security personnel.”

Vice President JD Vance said of Kirk’s passing, “Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “Jeanette and I are devastated. Charlie Kirk’s commitment to America’s future generations and sense of patriotism will resonate for decades to come. May the Lord bless Charlie and his family.”

“Well done, good and faithful servant,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote on social media.

BLS Job Data Investigation Launched After Massive Revisions

The Department of Labor’s Office of Inspector General (OIG) has opened a formal investigation into the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) following two years of major downward job data revisions that critics say distorted the true state of the U.S. economy. The move comes amid growing scrutiny from the Trump administration, which recently fired BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer after accusing her of politicizing economic data.

In August, President Donald Trump removed McEntarfer and nominated economist E.J. Antoni, a known critic of the bureau’s methodology, to lead the agency. The White House cited the BLS’s August jobs report and a massive 911,000-job downward revision to previous data as justification for the shake-up.

According to Assistant Inspector General Laura Nicolosi, the probe will examine “challenges” the BLS faces in collecting and revising high-stakes economic data, including inflation and employment reports. The watchdog will focus specifically on how the BLS handles the Producer Price Index (PPI), Consumer Price Index (CPI), and the monthly Employment Situation Report.

This year’s revision—the largest ever recorded—slashed more than 900,000 jobs from prior estimates for the year ending March 2025. That followed another adjustment in February 2025 that wiped out nearly 600,000 jobs from the 2024 count. Critics argue the consistent overstatement bolstered the Biden administration’s narrative of economic recovery—now proven false.

Breitbart’s John Carney called the trend “a myth created to explain a mismatch between sentiment and statistics,” adding that voters rightly sensed economic weakness while official reports falsely signaled strength. “If there’s a reason Trump is back in the Oval Office, this is it,” Carney wrote.

Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer agreed, saying the revisions undermine public trust. “It’s imperative for the data to remain accurate, impartial, and never altered for political gain,” she said Tuesday.

Major Deal Supports Critical U.S. Antibiotic Supply

The United States’ lone amoxicillin and amoxicillin clavulanate manufacturer, USAntibiotics, announced a collaboration with Walmart and McKesson to provide domestically manufactured antibiotics.

According to a press release on the subject, the collaboration will “supply millions of life-saving doses of amoxicillin directly to Walmart pharmacies and to McKesson for distribution to pharmacies, health systems and healthcare providers” across the country.

“We are thrilled to work with Walmart and McKesson to bring domestically manufactured antibiotics directly to American families,” said President of USAntibiotics Patrick Cashman. “We extend our deepest gratitude to Walmart and McKesson for their leadership in supporting U.S. manufacturing of critical generic medicines. This collaboration represents more than a business relationship – it’s a commitment to America’s health security.”

Hanna Watson, President of ClarusONE, a partner with the project, said the move helps build a “resilient supply chain” and “exemplifies the power of American businesses working together to strengthen our supply chains and serve our communities. Our work continues to improve access to care and create better health outcomes for all.”

In May, President Trump signed an executive order on Monday directing drug prices to be cut by an estimated 59%.

“The United States has less than five percent of the world’s population and yet funds around three quarters of global pharmaceutical profits,” the order said. “This egregious imbalance is orchestrated through a purposeful scheme in which drug manufacturers deeply discount their products to access foreign markets, and subsidize that decrease through enormously high prices in the United States.”

Americans should “have access to the most-favored-nation price for these products,” the order explains. “My Administration will take immediate steps to end global freeloading and, should drug manufacturers fail to offer American consumers the most-favored-nation lowest price, my Administration will take additional aggressive action.”

Hellfire Missile UFO Video Stuns Congress, Sparks Debate

A dramatic video shown at a congressional hearing this week appears to show a U.S. Hellfire missile fired from a military drone striking a glowing orb—only for the object to remain completely unaffected. The footage, recorded by a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper off the coast of Yemen on October 30, 2024, has triggered a firestorm of online speculation and raised new questions about unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).

Presented by Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) during a House Oversight subcommittee hearing on UFO transparency, the video shows the missile making contact with the fast-moving orb. But rather than exploding on impact, the object continues flying, apparently unharmed. Burlison and other lawmakers noted that no known technology could withstand a direct Hellfire strike without damage.

Theories quickly spread across social media. Some users speculated it was a secret U.S. technology test, while others suggested the orb could be an “intelligent sentient entity” protected by an electromagnetic force field. One viewer claimed, “If the aliens wanted to, they could kick our asses.”

Skeptics pushed back just as fast. UFO debunker Mick West argued the footage was misinterpreted, stating the missile likely passed through and fragmented the target, which then fell from the sky. He criticized lawmakers for sensationalizing unclear footage and called for corrections.

The timing of the video adds fuel to growing public interest in UFOs and extraterrestrial possibilities. Harvard’s Avi Loeb recently reignited curiosity after suggesting the third recorded interstellar object, 3I/ATLAS, might be artificial in origin.

While scientists like Neil deGrasse Tyson urge caution and demand more data, congressional interest in UAPs is accelerating. With unexplained footage now entering the official record, pressure is growing on lawmakers and defense agencies to offer real answers.

Labubu Doll Becomes China’s New Propaganda Puppet

A recent video showing Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov joking about the viral “Labubu” doll during a visit to China has reignited focus on the plush toy’s role as a soft-power tool for the Chinese Communist Party. The doll, produced by Beijing-based Pop Mart and heavily promoted by Chinese state media, has become a pop culture sensation both in China and abroad — and a calculated effort by Beijing to improve its international image.

Labubu dolls, sold in “blind box” format, have exploded in popularity across social media platforms like TikTok, especially after celebrities such as tennis star Naomi Osaka flaunted custom versions during the 2025 U.S. Open. The character even made a bizarre appearance at Karl Marx’s grave this summer, underscoring its growing visibility and symbolic weight.

The Chinese government has used Labubu to rebrand its manufacturing image, long associated with forced labor and human rights abuses. Xinhua, the Communist Party’s state-run outlet, called Labubu the “new image of ‘Made-in-China,’” praising China’s industrial system while ignoring its exploitation of Uyghur slave labor and centralized economic control.

Pop Mart’s founder, Wang Ning, has publicly credited China’s one-party regime and manufacturing dominance for the company’s meteoric rise. In July, he told People’s Daily, the Party’s official newspaper, that “Chinese culture and manufacturing made us what we are.” His remarks align closely with Communist Party propaganda efforts to sanitize the regime’s global image.

The Chinese state-run Global Times celebrated Lavrov’s remarks and showcased Russian officials mimicking the doll’s “ugly-cute” expression. Meanwhile, Beijing’s embrace of Labubu reflects its strategy to distract from a deteriorating economy, mass censorship, and ongoing atrocities in East Turkistan.

Despite its cuddly appearance, Labubu is far from apolitical. It now serves as a cheerful mask for a regime that continues to silence dissent and oppress religious minorities while exporting propaganda through pop culture.

Duffy Targets Charlotte Transit Failures After Woman’s Death

Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is launching an investigation of North Carolina’s Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) following the murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska.

The investigation centers on the transit agency’s “security spending, safety plans, and ongoing risks to operators and customers being assaulted on the system,” a press release explains, adding that it is intended to “determine whether conditions exist that endanger transit workers and customers.”

“Despite the media and the Charlotte Mayor’s best efforts to censor this tragedy, we have all seen the horrific images of Iryna Zarutska’s last moments on this earth. Local leader’s soft on crime policies are directly responsible for Iryna’s tragic death, and they will continue to put the traveling public at risk,” Duffy said in a statement. “This administration is taking a whole of government approach to hold these progressive, weak politicians accountable for allowing violent assailants to terrorize our public transit systems. At USDOT, that means investigating CATS and other transit agencies to determine whether they are taking the necessary actions to keep riders and transit workers safe.”

The U.S Department of Justice is seeking the maximum penalty for suspect DeCarlos Brown Jr. “Iryna Zarutska was a young woman living the American dream — her horrific murder is a direct result of failed soft-on-crime policies that put criminals before innocent people,” Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote on social media. “I have directed my attorneys to federally prosecute DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat violent offender with a history of violent crime, for murder. We will seek the maximum penalty for this unforgivable act of violence — he will never again see the light of day as a free man.”

Hegseth Warns China: U.S. Will Protect Indo-Pacific Interests

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun during a Tuesday meeting that while the United States does not seek conflict with China, it will “resolutely” protect its interests in the Indo-Pacific region.

Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell issued a statement following Hegseth’s call with the People’s Republic of China Minister of National Defense Admiral Dong Jun: “On September 9, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth spoke with China’s Minister of National Defense, Admiral Dong Jun. Secretary Hegseth made clear that the United States does not seek conflict with China nor is it pursuing regime change or strangulation of the PRC. At the same time, however, he forthrightly relayed that the U.S. has vital interests in the Asia-Pacific, the priority theater, and will resolutely protect those interests. Overall, the Secretary and Minister exchanged views in a candid and constructive manner. They agreed to further discussions.”

Hegseth warned Asian ally countries in June that China poses a “real” threat to the Indo-Pacific region.

“As our allies share the burden, we can increase our focus on the Indo-Pacific: our priority theater,” he said during the International Institute for Strategic Studies Shangri-La Dialogue.

“We share your vision of peace and stability, of prosperity and security and we are here to stay,” he added, explaining that the future for the region is “grounded in common sense and national interests.” Discussing China specifically, Hegseth noted that the country does not seek conflict with China, but it will also “not be pushed out of this critical region and we will not let our allies and partners be subordinated and intimidated.”

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was shot during a student event at Utah Valley University on September 10. The incident occurred while Kirk was engaging students in an outdoor campus setting as part of his “American Comeback Tour.” Authorities have confirmed one suspect is in custody. The extent of Kirk’s injuries has not yet been confirmed.

The shooting took place during a “Prove Me Wrong” segment, where Kirk sets up open forums for debate on hot-button political issues. Witnesses reported hearing a single shot ring out before seeing Kirk flinch and fall backward. Students began running in panic, as captured in footage that quickly spread online.

Please watch the following video at your own discretion.

Campus security and Orem Police responded swiftly, placing the university on temporary lockdown. The shooter, who has not yet been publicly identified, was apprehended by campus police shortly after the incident. Investigators have yet to determine a motive.

Kirk was reportedly struck near the neck. Emergency services responded within minutes, and he was transported to a nearby hospital. Medical officials have not issued an update on his condition, and Turning Point USA has yet to release a formal statement.

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) called for prayers and vigilance on X, saying, “I am tracking the situation at Utah Valley University closely. Please join me in praying for Charlie Kirk and the students gathered there,” Lee said.

Governor Cox also released a statement, saying:

I am being briefed by law enforcement following the violence directed at Charlie Kirk during his visit to Utah Valley University today. We will continue to share updates. Those responsible will be held fully accountable. Violence has no place in our public life. Americans of every political persuasion must unite in condemning this act. Our prayers are with Charlie, his family, and all those affected.

Kirk is a prominent figure in conservative politics, often challenging leftist ideologies and promoting Christian values across college campuses. His events routinely draw large crowds and frequent protests.

MAHA Report Unleashes Strategy to Reform Children’s Health

The Make America Healthy Again Commission released a report detailing more than 120 initiatives to reform children’s health in the wake of the nation’s childhood chronic disease epidemic.

“The Trump Administration is mobilizing every part of government to confront the childhood chronic disease epidemic,” HHS Secretary Kennedy said of the report. “This strategy represents the most sweeping reform agenda in modern history—realigning our food and health systems, driving education, and unleashing science to protect America’s children and families. We are ending the corporate capture of public health, restoring transparency, and putting gold-standard science—not special interests—at the center of every decision.”

According to the report, the four areas impacting the children’s health crisis are poor diet, chemical exposure, lack of physical activity and stress, and overmedicalization. Over 60% of children’s diets come from highly processed foods. Children are also being exposed to an “increasing number of synthetic chemicals, some of which have been linked to developmental issues and chronic disease,” the report said, noting the nation’s younger generations are also “experiencing unprecedented levels of inactivity, screen use, sleep deprivation, and chronic stress.”

Several key areas of the MAHA strategy include increasing public awareness and education, working with the private sector, restoring science, and taking executive action, such as improving food labeling, raising infant formula standards, removing chemicals from the U.S. food supply, reforming Medicaid quality metrics, and enforcing direct-to-consumer drug advertising laws.

A MAHA Commission report released in May described the declining health among the country’s youth. “Today’s children are the sickest generation in American history in terms of chronic disease and these preventable trends continue to worsen each year, posing a threat to our nation’s health, economy, and military readiness,” the document read.

“America will begin reversing the childhood chronic disease crisis during this administration by getting to the truth of why we are getting sick and spurring pro-growth policies and innovation to reverse these trends,” it declared.
