Bolsonaro Witch Hunt Sparks Threat of Significant U.S. Response

The conviction of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been widely condemned by conservatives as a Bolsonaro witch hunt. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio blasted the 27-year prison sentence, calling it a politically motivated attack.

“The political persecutions by sanctioned human rights abuser Alexandre de Moraes continue, as he and others on Brazil’s supreme court have unjustly ruled to imprison former President Jair Bolsonaro,” Rubio wrote on X. He warned, “The United States will respond accordingly to this witch hunt.”

Bolsonaro’s conviction for allegedly plotting a coup to stop leftist Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva from taking office drew swift reaction from Washington. Rubio announced that Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes and his allies will face U.S. visa revocations and additional sanctions.

President Donald Trump defended his former ally, saying, “I watched that trial. I know him pretty well. I thought he was a good president of Brazil, and it’s very surprising that could happen very much like they tried to do with me, but they didn’t get away with it at all.”

Eduardo Bolsonaro, the former president’s son, told Reuters, “We are going to have a firm response with actions from the U.S. government against this dictatorship that is being installed in Brazil.”

In the end, this case is more than just about Brazil—it highlights how global elites are weaponizing courts to crush conservative leaders.

Massacre of Christians in DRC Exposes Continued Islamist Terror

A brutal massacre of Christians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has left nearly 100 believers dead, highlighting the growing threat of Islamist extremism in Africa.

Open Doors reported that 70 Christians were killed Monday night while worshiping at a funeral service, with dozens more slain in nearby villages. The SITE Intelligence Group confirmed the death toll neared 100. Responsibility was claimed by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), an ISIS-linked terror group.

Local pastor Rev. Mbula Samaki described the horror: “They arrived and started killing. Those who tried to flee were shot dead, and others were killed with machetes.” Verified footage reportedly showed children and women among the victims, some with their hands tied.

An African Open Doors partner noted that attacks like this happen far too often but rarely make headlines. “If we take just August, there’s been over 10, we have documented 10 attacks, but there have been a lot more which go unreported.”

President Trump has already condemned the attacks and reaffirmed his commitment to the Washington Accords peace deal. A White House spokesperson declared, “The Trump administration condemns in the strongest terms this horrific violence against Christians in the DRC and is committed to advancing the Washington Accords.”

This massacre exposes the ongoing war on Christians that too many in the West ignore.

Americans Warned Against Traveling to Six Countries

Americans have been urged to refrain from traveling to Afghanistan, Burma, North Korea, Venezuela, Iran, or Russia.

The State Department explained that Americans visiting the countries risk “wrongful detention.”

According to the Afghanistan advisory, U.S. citizens must not travel due to “civil unrest, crime, terrorism, risk of wrongful detention, kidnapping, and limited health facilities,” adding, “U.S. citizens should not travel to Afghanistan for any reason, including to accompany eligible family members for relocation.”

As for the Burma advisory, the State Department said “armed conflict, the potential for civil unrest, arbitrary enforcement of local laws, poor health infrastructure, land mines and unexploded ordnance, crime, and wrongful detentions” are active threats against Americans.

The travel advisory on North Korea was dated from April, Iran’s from March, and Russia’s and Venezuela’s from May.

President Trump signed an executive order earlier this month aiming to protect U.S. citizens from wrongful detention overseas.

“The United States must strengthen efforts to protect U.S. nationals from wrongful detention abroad. The United States Government is committed to using every tool available to curb this coercive tactic used by foreign adversaries and must hold such adversaries to account,” the order says. “No American should fear being taken as a political pawn by rogue states. Wrongful detentions are an affront to the rule of law and aim to undermine our leadership on the world stage. The United States will not tolerate these attacks on our sovereignty and U.S. nationals.”

The order further allows Secretary of State Marco Rubio to “designate any foreign country the government of which directly engages in or provides support for the wrongful detention of a U.S. national as a State Sponsor of Wrongful Detention.”

Emotional Support Alligator Sparks Walmart Ban and Backlash

A Pennsylvania man’s emotional support alligator has been banned from Walmart after stunned shoppers photographed the reptile roaming the aisles in West Brownsville.

Owner Wesley Silva, 60, often parades his 5-foot-long gator, Jinseioshi, around town. “We’ve gone to restaurants,” Silva told WPXI. “We’ve been to Denny’s, where she’s a star there. She gets VIP treatment.”

But Walmart drew the line after photos circulated of the 32-pound gator wearing clothes and riding in a shopping cart. “The safety of our customers and associates is our highest priority,” Walmart said in a statement. “We welcome service animals in our stores, but it is unacceptable to expose members of the public to potential danger. Accordingly, alligators are not permitted on our premises.”

Silva, who adopted the reptile four years ago, insists he has never had problems before. “It’s been very positive, and I was really taken aback by that,” he said. Still, the ban will not end his outings with Jinseioshi. “I’ll just go with the flow,” Silva added.

While Pennsylvania law allows alligator ownership so long as they aren’t released into the wild, Walmart emphasized its rules follow federal guidelines. The Americans with Disabilities Act recognizes only dogs and miniature horses as service animals.

Police arrested a crime scene intruder Thursday after he allegedly breached the area where conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University.

Russell Kim Kennington, 38, crossed two sets of yellow police tape before snapping photos, including a selfie, at the active crime scene, according to KUTV. Investigators said he later told officers he was “reminiscing and filming the scene.”

When officers ordered Kennington to identify himself, he fled but was caught after a short pursuit. “There was two sets of yellow crime scene tape up that Russell would have to of [sic] crossed to make it to the main incident crime scene,” the affidavit stated. Video from the scene shows Kennington in handcuffs being escorted to an unmarked police car.

Kennington admitted sneaking in by “following the shadows” to avoid detection. Police later recovered his phone and found the selfie he took inside the restricted area. He was booked into Utah County Jail on charges of capital obstruction of justice, a second-degree felony, and criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor.

Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated by a sniper during his American Comeback Tour. A suspect is now in custody.

Vice President JD Vance escorted Kirk’s family aboard Air Force Two as his body was flown to Arizona. Kirk leaves behind his wife and two young children.

Hamas Hospital Cover-Up: NGOs Exposed in Shocking Files

(AP Photo/Hatem Moussa)

A Hamas hospital cover-up has been exposed in newly released internal communications, revealing that the terror group allowed international NGOs—including the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Doctors Without Borders—to operate inside hospitals it used as command centers.

Hamas documents declassified by Israel and translated by NGO Monitor show the ICRC chose offices “inside Al-Shifa Hospital that [were] adjacent to the movement’s offices,” while Doctors Without Borders “chose the only room in Abu Yousef El-Najar Hospital that has a [safe] communication landline.” Hamas itself noted that Gaza hospitals served as “gathering for many commanders of the movement and the government in times of escalation.”

Despite these revelations, the NGOs have repeatedly condemned Israeli operations against Hamas-controlled hospitals while refusing to acknowledge the terrorist presence inside them. The ICRC, for instance, claimed that strikes on medical sites “cause death and destruction and jeopardize vital lifelines,” omitting the fact that Hamas embedded itself in those very facilities.

Gerald Steinberg, president of NGO Monitor, condemned the hypocrisy: “This document exposes the hypocrisy of supposedly humanitarian international organizations like the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, and the Norwegian Aid Committee (NORWAC).”

He added, “While repeatedly echoing Hamas allegations and condemning Israel’s operations to end the exploitation of hospitals for terror, these groups clearly knew that Hamas exploited these facilities, and chose to remain silent.”

The evidence is now undeniable: Hamas turned Gaza’s medical system into a terror shield—and too many NGOs looked the other way.

National Guard Coming to Memphis

President Donald Trump announced that he is sending the National Guard to Memphis, Tennessee, as part of his crackdown on crime.

“I think maybe I’ll be the first to say it right now, again, we’re going to Memphis. Memphis is deeply troubled, and the mayor is happy, he is a Democrat mayor, the mayor is happy, and the governor of Tennessee, the governor is happy, deeply troubled. We’re going to fix that, just like we did Washington,” Trump told Fox and Friends.

Describing a conversation he had with the head of Union Pacific, Trump said, “And I said, ‘What do you think, where should we go next? As a city? Cause we are going on, two, and then we will do a few at a time.’ He said, sir, Memphis would be good because, he’s on board of FedEx, ‘When I walk one block to my hotel, they put me in an armored vehicle with bullet-proof glass to take me one block.’ He said it’s so terrible,” the president said.

“By the way, we’ll bring in the military too if we need it, and the National Guard. But Memphis is, look, it’s a great Music City. It’s, you know, home of Elvis and everything else,” Trump added.

President Trump has also pledged to deploy the National Guard in Chicago. Democratic Mayor Brandon Johnson said of the matter, “The City of Chicago will not waver. We are Chicago. We will not bend or cower, and we will never break.”

Kamala Harris Book Backfires as Biden Aides Expose Her Glaring Failures

The Kamala Harris book set to be released next month is already backfiring, as former Biden aides fire back at her claims that the White House deliberately worked to undermine her. In 107 Days, Harris accuses Biden’s team of refusing to defend her record, writing that “it seemed as if [Biden aides] decided I should be knocked down a little bit more.”

But according to more than a dozen former staffers, Harris is scapegoating Biden to excuse her own failed leadership. “Vice President Harris was simply not good at the job,” one former aide told Axios. “She had basically zero substantive role in any of the administration’s key work streams, and instead would just dive bomb in for stilted photo ops that exposed how out of depth she was.”

Other officials ridiculed her border failures and constant complaints. “On the border stuff in particular, I’d also say if she had spent a fraction of the time and energy doing the work that she did on complaining, about how she was perceived, she would have been perceived a whole lot better,” one aide said.

Even Democratic donors have soured, calling her 2024 campaign “pathetic” and “traumatizing,” after she racked up over $20 million in debt.

As one former Biden official bluntly put it, “No one wants to hear your pity party.”

Republicans Call for Charlie Kirk Statue in Capitol

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) circulated a letter calling for a statue of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk to be placed in the U.S. Capitol.

The letter, addressed to House Speaker Mike Johnson and signed by 15 GOP lawmakers, says, “To honor this legacy, we call upon you to direct that a statue of Charlie Kirk be placed in the United States Capitol. This is not a symbolic gesture, but a permanent testament to his life’s work, his courage and his sacrifice. It will stand as a reminder that political disagreement must never be answered with violence, and that the fight for truth must carry on.”

The letter honors Kirk’s family, faith, and “unapologetic defense of our Constitution.”

“He reminded this nation that our values–faith, family, and freedom—are not negotiable,” the lawmakers’ wrote. “He loved Jesus Christ with his whole heart, and it was that love that gave him the courage to stand strong in the face of hostility.”

Republicans Reps. Andy Ogles (TN), Lauren Boebert (CO), Andy Biggs (AZ), Dan Newhouse (WA), Barry Moore (AL), Derrick Van Orden (WI), Byron Donalds (FL), Mary Miller (IL), Michael Rulli (OH), Jefferson Van Drew (NJ), Pat Fallon (TX), Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), Randy Fine (FL), Eric Burlison (MO), and Tony Gonzales (TX) joined Luna in the letter.

“I owe my entire political career to Charlie Kirk,” Luna wrote on social media. “I would quite literally not be in office today if it weren’t for him. Even when my own party was working against me, Charlie endorsed me and campaigned to help me win election.” She said the statue would honor Kirk’s legacy and “serve as a permanent testament to his life, work, and sacrifice.”

Columbia Activist Celebrates Kirk’s Assassination with Repugnant Glee, Calls for ‘More Violence’

Columbia University encampment organizer Khymani James, already infamous for fantasizing about “murdering Zionists,” openly celebrated the Charlie Kirk assassination and urged more violence.

Shortly after the conservative activist was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University, James posted to X, “More. MORE!!!” and “Down with all the fascists.” In a series of disturbing posts, he added, “NO ONE MOURNS THE WICKED,” “Thoughts and prayers for the bullet,” and “I think Nazis should be shot, actually.”

A Columbia spokesman condemned the rhetoric, saying, “Encouraging violence against others is unacceptable and has no place in our civil discourse.”

James rose to prominence as a spokesman for Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD), the group behind last year’s anti-Semitic encampment. He was suspended after admitting administrators should be “grateful that I’m not just going out there and murdering Zionists.” CUAD later walked back its initial criticism, declaring “violence is the only path forward,” a position James endorsed.

Kirk, a staunch defender of Israel, had recently reminded students of the stakes in the Middle East: “The war started because 1,300 Jews were killed and 200 were taken hostage. When you declare war on Israel, expect a firestorm in reaction.”

His words now serve as a warning about the poisonous rhetoric spreading on campuses. Kirk’s defense of truth stands in sharp contrast to James’s glorification of violence. As Kirk himself declared: “Jew hate has no place in civil society. It rots the brain, reject it.”
