News Outlet Cuts Live Feed After Reporter is Surrounded by Anti-Israel Protesters

U.K. news outlet Sky News cut off its live feed after a group of pro-Palestinian protesters interrupted its report.

Sky News correspondent Becky Johnson was allegedly reporting on the unrest in Birmingham, England, where crowds of Muslim men were gathering Monday to “defend the streets” from the “far right,” Fox News reported.

As Johnson was doing a live report, a group of masked men approached her on bikes and began shouting at her and her camera crew.

The unrest comes after three young girls were killed in a knife attack by an immigrant illegally in the country.

“Free Palestine,” one man shouted with profanities at the camera.

“Apologies for the language but a sense of the anger, I think you can hear there,” Johnson said.

Sky News then abruptly cut off the live feed after more men reportedly approached the camera.

“Casey, I think — Becky, I apologize, we need to leave you there, Becky,” Sky News’ Mark Austin said in the studio. “We’ll have security there. I apologize once again for the language there.”
