Another bus dropped off immigrants outside of Vice President Kamala Harris’ Washington D.C. home.

- “The Biden-Harris Administration continues ignoring and denying the historic crisis at our southern border, which has endangered and overwhelmed Texas communities for almost two years,” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said earlier this week.
- Abbott’s office said it has sent 8,000 migrants to Washington, D.C. since the policy was announced in April to show the reality border cities confront every single day.
TEXAS GOV. GREG ABBOTT ON THE REASON FOR SENDING IMMIGRANTS TO HARRIS’ HOME:
“Our supposed border czar, Vice President Kamala Harris, has yet to even visit the border to see firsthand the impact of the open border policies she has helped implement, even going so far as to claim the border is secure,” Abbott said.
BACKGROUND:
- Last month, Abbott sent two buses loaded in Del Rio, Texas, with migrants from multiple countries including Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, and Uruguay to Harris’ residence.
- “We are sending them to the U.S. Capitol where the Biden administration will more immediately be able to address the needs of the people that they are allowing to cross our border,” Abbott said at the time.
- Abbott also sent 50 migrants to Chicago, promising to send more buses to sanctuary cities until the federal government secures the southern border.
