Mike Pence Notices There Were ‘Irregularities in the 2020 Election’ During Tucker Carlson Interview

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson interviewed former Vice President Mike Pense during the 2023 FAMiLY Leader Summit in Iowa.

When discussing the events that took place during the January 6 riot, Pence acknowledged that it was a “tragic” day.

He added that he is “still waiting for equal vigor and equal prosecutions to be brought on those that brought hundreds of BLM riots to cities across America.”

The Republican presidential candidate later noted that the January 6 committee was too “focused on one individual and on placing blame,” adding that the committee members “spent very little time focusing on law enforcement failures that happened that day and intelligence failures that happened that day.”

Carlson asked Pence, “Why doesn’t anyone try to reassure the public that the mechanics of voting are legit? And are they? Do you think the last election was fair?”

Pence responded that he believes there were “irregularities in the 2020 election.”

As several states changed voting rules due to COVID-19 mandates, “public confidence in the outcome of the election” was “undermined,” Pence said.

However, Pence stated that following recounts, there is “no evidence that the changes would have changed the outcome of the election.”

Reporting from The Blaze:

"President Trump's words that day were reckless," Pence said. "I believe whatever his intentions were in that moment, it endangered me and my family and everyone who was at the Capitol that day."

"I believe history will hold him accountable for that."
