Sinking Glamour: Influencers Flee Luxury Yacht Disaster off Miami Beach

Around 30 influencers saw their luxury yacht experience unravel Saturday after their Lamborghini Tecnomar began sinking off Miami Beach. The incident, which unfolded near the exclusive Star Island at around 5 p.m., prompted a swift rescue operation by the Coast Guard and a nearby civilian vessel.

Despite the danger, most passengers remained calm—some even continued snapping selfies as the 63-foot yacht tipped nearly vertical in the water. “No [expletives] given,” one Instagram user remarked, summarizing the scene as “everyone on the sinking yacht taking selfies.”

Social media flooded with footage of the women, all wearing life vests, climbing aboard rescue boats. Former Miss America competitor Regan Hartley was seen clutching a $350 bottle of Clase Azul Gold tequila during the evacuation. “The baby is safe,” someone joked from the rescue boat.

Another video showed a woman holding her Macbook tightly, while others shouted, “Women and children first, women and children,” in a mocking tone. “Sheesh,” one woman exclaimed repeatedly, while another was heard asking, “How did this happen?”

The Tecnomar, part of a fleet of just 11 high-end yachts designed by Lamborghini, has a $3.6 million price tag. Authorities have not confirmed who owns the sinking vessel or what caused the near-disaster.

Witness Rachel Miller told local news, “We saw, like, a bunch of cop boats, like police boats, and there was another yacht that was flipped over, completely vertical in the water.” The women were safely transported to Miami Beach Marina.
