Pro-Palestinian protests are expected to take place across the nation this weekend, with organizers expected to gather for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
In Washington D.C., a protest called the “National March on Washington: Free Palestine!” is expected to occur with more than 100,000 participants.
Solidarity marches are also planned from New York to San Francisco, as organizers predict the demonstrations to be among the largest anti-war protests in recent history.
College campuses continue to be a common gathering place for pro-Palestinian rallies, with some university students going as far as staging walkouts to protest Israel.
Last weekend, New York City saw thousands of demonstrators walking across the Brooklyn Bridge calling for “an end to the blockade and the breaking of the siege.”
