Klaus Schwab Believes AI Will ‘Predict’ Election Outcomes: ‘Why Do We Need Elections?’

World Economic Forum (WEF) Chairman Klaus Schwab believes artificial intelligence (AI) will render traditional elections useless, as the technology will be able to “predict” voting outcomes.

Speaking to Google co-founder Sergey Brin during the WEF meeting, Schwab said, “Digital technologies mainly have an analytical power; now we go into a predictive power, and we have seen the first examples, and your company very much evolved into it.”

“The next step could be to go into a prescriptive mode, which means you do not even have to have elections anymore because you can already predict,” he continued. “Afterwards you can say ‘Why do we need elections?’ because we know what the result will be.”

WEF advisor Yuval Noah Harari stated in a May 2023 address that artificial intelligence could run the 2024 election and evolve into a form of religion.

“Think for example about the next US Presidential race, in 2024, and try to imagine the impact of the new AI tools that can mass-produce political manifestos, fake news stories, and even holy scriptures for new cults,” Harari began.

“In recent years, the politically influential Q Anon cult has formed around anonymous online texts, known as ‘Q drops,’” he continued. “Now, followers of this cult, which are millions now in the US and the rest of the world, collected, revered, and interpreted these Q drops as some kind of new scripture, as a sacred text.”

“Now, to the best of our knowledge, all previous Q drops were composed by human beings and bots only helped to disseminate these texts online,” the philosopher added. “But in [the] future, we might see the first cults and religions in history whose revered texts were written by a non-human intelligence.”
