Kari Lake ‘Seriously Contemplating’ Senate Run

Arizona Republican Kari Lake is considering a U.S. Senate bid.

“I’m seriously contemplating running for Senate,” Lake said during an interview with Newsmax.

“We desperately need some people who are going to put the citizens of their state first when they go to the federal government, go off to the Senate or the House,” Lake explained.

She noted that there are “two hardcore liberals” running who do not represent the state of Arizona.

“Arizona is not all about what Joe Biden is about,” Lake said.

Lake stated she will make a decision in the next few months.

Reporting from The Blaze:

Last year Lake lost the Arizona gubernatorial election to then-Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, though Lake has claimed that she actually won the contest and that the election was stolen.

"I've looked at the polling, to be honest, and I believe I'm the only one who can win that race," Lake said last month of Arizona's U.S. Senate contest, according to NBC News.
