Further Abuses Exposed as Iranian Regime Faces Horrific Accusations

New allegations of abuse have surfaced in Iran as eyewitnesses and human rights groups accuse the Islamic Republic of sexual assaults on teenage detainees and extortion of grieving families. The reports emerged as Iran’s government claimed it had crushed nationwide protests, even as evidence of severe repression continues to mount.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI-US) told Fox News Digital that detained protesters, including minors, have faced extreme mistreatment. According to reports, families of those killed were forced to pay up to 10 billion rials to recover the bodies of loved ones. The France-based Kurdistan Human Rights Network said funerals were often conducted under heavy security, while families faced threats to falsely blame protesters for the deaths.

Iran’s prosecutor general Mohammad Movahedi declared, “The sedition is over now,” adding, “we must be grateful, as always, to the people who extinguished this sedition.” Those statements came as confirmed fatalities reached 4,902, with thousands more under review, and arrests rose to 26,541, according to the Human Rights Activists News Agency.

KHRN reported that two protesters, including a 16-year-old, said they were sexually assaulted while detained in Kermanshah. NCRI’s Ali Safavi described further abuse, stating, “Several young women and men were forced to undress, so the military could see whether they had pellet wounds.” He added, “There has been barbarity with people who were detained. When they were killed, their bodies were burned.”

Safavi warned that unrest continues and said the regime “won’t abandon brutal and bloody suppression,” calling the ongoing abuses a reminder of past massacres and unresolved injustice.
