‘If Monkeypox is Sexually Transmitted, Why Are Kids Getting It?’ Asks Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene

America First Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene posed the question as to how children are becoming infected with the sexually transmitted monkeypox virus after the CDC announced that it had confirmed America’s first two childhood cases of the disease. Monkeypox, an African virus reported to cause painful lesions on the genitals of those infected, has been almost unheard of in the Western World but began spreading through Europe, the United States, and other Western nations after it was widely transmitted at a pair of gay sex parties.

Public health officials and medical experts worldwide are reporting that monkeypox, an African virus related to smallpox and nearly unheard of in the Western World, is spreading almost exclusively through sex between men following its mass transmission at a pair of gay European sex parties. In the US, where monkeypox vaccine doses were ordered en masse from a Fauci-connected biotech company, purported treatments for the disease are being funneled to cities with high populations of gay men, including DC, New York City, and San Francisco.

Though most vaccine doses are being reserved for gay men, medical providers, and “sex workers,” the CDC states that the drugs are also available for children through “special expanded use protocols.” A “full course” of monkeypox shots reportedly consists of two jabs given two weeks apart.

On Saturday, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus unilaterally declared monkeypox to be a global health emergency, much like COVID-19, in a decision that ran contrary to the recommendation of the WHO’s advisory board, which voted against making the declaration. The WHO announcement coincided with a massive recent increase in corporate media coverage and global political rhetoric surrounding monkeypox, despite its less than 1% fatality rate and very preventable modes of transmission.

Just before the World Health Organization’s Director-General made his emergency announcement, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced the first two confirmed cases of monkeypox in children within the US. One of the children, the CDC reports, is a foreign national and not a US resident, while the other is a California toddler.

Because the virus has been almost exclusively sexually transmitted through encounters between men, immediate questions were raised surrounding how the children contracted monkeypox. While the CDC confirms that “more than 99%” of US monkeypox cases are occurring in “individuals who identify as gay, bisexual or other men who have sex with men,” they are explaining that the childhood cases are the result of “holding, cuddling, feeding,” and the shared use of everyday items, though they also state in other contexts that the monkeypox disease is spread almost completely through direct physical contact with the lesions it produces.

A chorus of concerned citizens has questioned how monkeypox in children appeared in the United States, citing the CDC’s own statements on how it’s transmitted – sexually.

Among those publicly questioning the cases of monkeypox in children is Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, a staunch opponent of global medical tyranny and a vocal advocate against the rampant sexualization of children so often excused by the pro-LGBT left. In a post made to Twitter, Greene attached video footage of Biden CDC Director Rochelle Walensky announcing the cases of monkeypox in children and asked why kids are getting a sexually transmitted disease.

“If monkeypox is a sexually transmitted disease, why are kids getting it?” Greene asked.
