Former stripper and friend Hunter Biden Allie Kennedy told The Daily Mail that much of Biden’s behavior is due to feeling inadequate and second-best to his late brother Beau.
“Hunter’s a soft person and when his brother died, I think everything fell apart for him,” Kennedy said.
“He’s kind of the whipping boy of the family,” she continued. “I don’t think that the man was ever properly loved by his parents.”
She noted, “I think for his father’s approval, he would do anything. I think that’s how he was stupid enough to get tied into that Russia, China, Ukraine business. He just wanted his father’s approval and love.”
Kennedy met Hunter Biden while she worked as a stripper and offered spray tans.
Biden paid her hundreds of dollars for a spray tan, later asking if she smoked.
Kennedy found out that Biden smoked crack and realized he was an addict.
As their friendship continued, Biden would “talk about how crack was the greatest drug, more pure than cocaine,” Kennedy stated.
“He’d say it’s not a poor man’s drug and he’d give me all these crazy facts about crack. He really loves crack. It’s kind of weird.”
She added, “I noticed that the drugs were an issue, not just a recreational thing.”
“That’s when, as a friend would, I started to try to step in and help him out. I would check on him every day, make sure that he was staying sober. Any time that he was feeling he wanted to use, he’d give me a call.”
Reporting from The Daily Mail:
‘Towards the end of our friendship in late 2018, early 2019, every time I talked to him he was in some kind of a panic about something that was going to come out in the media,’ Kennedy said. He was also under increasing financial stress, even resorting to asking his friend for $1,000 one day when his bank account was empty. Kennedy refused to give him money. She said the last time she saw him was around April 2019, in Philadelphia – the month before he met and married South African filmmaker Melissa Cohen. ‘He drove his dad’s truck to come see me,’ she said. ‘He said he had to take me to dinner and he had to tell me something. He was acting erratic. I knew that he was back on drugs again.'
