New Footage Exposes Gazan Civilians Joining Hamas in Committing Oct 7 Atrocities

Newly released Hamas footage from Oct. 7, 2023, shows terrorists and Gazan civilians kidnapping Israeli women and children from Kibbutz Be’eri, a community just two miles from the Gaza border. The footage highlights the coordinated brutality that killed more than 1,200 Israelis two years ago and reignites debate over Hamas’s ongoing threat to the Jewish state.

The videos, shared by Foundation for Defense of Democracies analyst Joe Truzman, depict armed Hamas militants and civilians herding women and children at gunpoint. In one clip, a Hamas commander kisses a child’s head as captives are led away. In another, a Palestinian man in civilian clothing binds a woman’s wrists before she is murdered. “In Hamas’s distorted worldview, the atrocities of October 7 are not a moral abomination but a triumph to be emulated,” Truzman told the Washington Free Beacon.

A former Israeli defense official said, “Middle-aged women massacred in cold blood. Kids kidnapped from their beds in their soccer kits and PJs. Palestinian civilians watching on and celebrating—and in some cases taking part. It’s sick.”

The footage underscores the atrocities that sparked Israel’s ongoing campaign to dismantle Hamas. As President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan continues to be negotiated, Hamas faces growing international pressure to disarm and release the remaining 48 hostages.

Senators Joni Ernst (R-IA) and John Fetterman (D-PA) introduced a bipartisan resolution marking the two-year anniversary, condemning Hamas’s “use of rape as a weapon of war” and reaffirming Israel’s right to exist.
