Sports broadcasting giant ESPN has reportedly let go of around 20 on-air personalities, including some of the network’s most well-known commentators, analysts and journalists.
“This will include a small group of job cuts in the short-term and an ongoing focus on managing costs when we negotiate individual contract renewals in the months ahead,” ESPN’s statement said.
ESPN’s majority owner Disney recently finished laying off nearly 7,000 employees.
