Conservative organization America First Legal (AFL) released documents that further reveal how health agencies and social media companies colluded to censor views countering the mainstream narrative on the COVID-19 vaccine.
In an email between Facebook and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Facebook sent draft material to be approved by the CDC.
Genelle Adrien from Facebook emailed the CDC’s Carol Crawford, asking if the “FAQ Content” for the platform’s “COVID-19 Information Center” met the CDC’s approval.
The FAQ’s related to the COVID-19 vaccine’s side effects.
Crawford told Adrien to remove a line that stated, “More serious side effects are extremely rare. A person is far more likely to be seriously harmed by a disease than by its vaccine.”
She added, “We don’t have any cleared language, as far as I know, to support the second and third sentences,” referring to the removed content.
Other entities also suppressed information surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine.
The House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government revealed that Amazon censored books that expressed skepticism of the vaccine. Amazon faced pressure from the White House to suppress the materials, according to committee chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH).
