Mainstream media outlet CNN has acknowledged that President Joe Biden’s mental decline is not a new development.
The outlet reported that “there have been clear signs throughout his term of Biden being increasingly stage-managed, with lists of talking points, names of questioners and drawings of where he should walk presented to him by aides.”
The report went on to describe the pre-planned talking points, questions and answers, and bullet points that have defined Biden’s presidency.
“The entire display is kind of an act,” a source familiar with the Cabinet told CNN. “They would come and say, ‘Hey, the president is going to call on you about 25 minutes in, and ask this question. What are the bullet points you’ll respond with?’”
An anonymous Democrat told CNN that there is a “general sense of just, unbelievable holding your breath every time he does an event, every time he’s with people,” adding, “This is going to get worse.”
CNN previously defended Biden’s mental decline, with news anchor John King declaring in February, “That man deserves a lot of credit for fighting through [stuttering] in a very public way. It takes a lot of courage.”
The report comes as many Democrats and legacy media sources are turning their backs on Biden.
According to NBC News, at least 18 Democrat leaders have called for Biden to drop out of the presidential race.
