The Biden administration has given $2 million to a George Soros-backed nonprofit to teach young men in Puerto Rico about “toxic masculinities.”

- President Joe Biden’s Justice Department reportedly gave $2 million to a nonprofit that teaches Puerto Rican young men about “structural racism and toxic masculinities.”
- The group, called Taller Salud, boasts to be a “feminist, culturally specific nonprofit organization” using public education “campaigns” to address crime through police alternatives.
- Taller Salud also receives funding from Democratic billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, and uses donated funds towards its “community violence intervention program” which seeks to “educate” young people on “racism” in order to stop violent crime.
- The Biden-backed program will train a “minimum” of 40 young males, focusing on “conflict mediation” and placing emphasis on ending street crime through “cultural activities.”
- In addition to Soros’ nonprofit, Taller Salud also receives donations from Planned Parenthood and Grantmakers for Girls of Color, a group that invests in the “liberation of girls, femmes, and gender-expansive youth of Color.”
- The organization’s CEO, Tania Rosario Méndez, describes herself as an “anti-racist activist for environmental justice and gender equality,” according to her Instagram.
NONPROFIT TALLER SALUD ON USING BIDEN FUNDS TO “EDUCATE” PUERTO RICANS ON STRUCTURAL RACISM:
“The three year, $2,000,0000 award will allow TS to continue providing a community violence intervention program that works at the individual level and at the community level seeking crime reduction, improving the criminal justice response to crimes and denormalizing crime in the community of Loíza and the northeastern region of Puerto Rico,” the organization said.
BACKGROUND:
- In September 2022, “The Acacia Center for Justice,” an NGO with financial ties to the Soros-linked Vera Institute of Justice, scored a contract from Biden’s DOJ to provide resources to border crossers and illegal aliens after they are released into the U.S. interior in the hopes of staying permanently.
- CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) has reportedly received six “legal services” contracts from the Department of Justice that carried start dates of Sept. 1, according to records.
- The multimillion-dollar contracts began just months after the nonprofit received a July determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which stated the group’s effective date of tax exemption was Dec. 29, 2021.
- In 2018, the Vera Institute of Justice was awarded $310 million by the Obama administration to help Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) avoid deportation.
- In June 2021, the Biden Administration donated almost $4 billion in pandemic relief funds to Puerto Rico.
- Nearly half of the funds came from the “American Rescue Plan,” Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 “rescue package.”
