Archer’s Testimony to Oversight Committee: Biden Was ‘The Brand’ in Son’s Business, Contradicting Earlier Denials of Involvement

In a dramatic development, Devon Archer, an associate of the Biden family, has completed a transcribed interview with the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.

The interview’s revelations indicate that President Joe Biden had knowledge about and involvement in his son Hunter’s business affairs, a contradiction to his previous statements.

According to a series of tweets from the Oversight Committee, Archer confirmed that Joe Biden “lied to the American people when he said he had no knowledge about his son’s business dealings and was not involved.”

The committee summarized key points from Archer’s testimony, asserting that as Vice President, Joe Biden had “joined Hunter Biden’s dinners with his foreign business associates in person or by speakerphone over 20 times.”

According to Archer, Hunter Biden’s value to Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, was “the brand,” a term they reportedly used to refer to then-Vice President Biden.

Archer stated that “the 20 phone calls were to sell ‘the brand.'”

Archer revealed that Burisma “would have gone out of business if ‘the brand’ had not been attached to it.”

This suggests the influence of the Bidens was utilized to shield Burisma from legal scrutiny.

In December 2015, Archer claimed, Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, and Vadym Pozharski, an executive of the company, exerted “constant pressure on Hunter Biden to get help from D.C. regarding the Ukrainian prosecutor, Viktor Shokin,” who was investigating Burisma for corruption.

This testimony “raises concerns that Hunter Biden was in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act,” according to the committee’s tweets.

The tweets further detailed instances where Joe Biden was directly engaged with Hunter’s foreign business associates.

These included a dinner in Paris with a French energy company and a meeting in China with Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR. Archer’s testimony added that Biden “even wrote a letter of recommendation for college for Li’s daughter.”

Archer further noted that Joe Biden was referred to as “my guy” by Hunter Biden.

One instance mentioned by Archer was a 2014 business dinner at Café Milano in D.C., which then-Vice President Biden attended along with Hunter and his associates.

The guest list included Elena Baturina, a Russian oligarch who is the widow of the former mayor of Moscow.

Notably, Baturina has not been included in the Biden administration’s public sanctions.

These revelations will surely fuel debates and investigations about the extent of the President’s involvement in his son’s business affairs, and whether this involvement influenced U.S. foreign policy.

More information is expected as the Oversight Committee continues its investigation.
