Alabama GOP Committee Publicly Disavows RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel

The Alabama Republican Party’s Steering Committee has announced that it will not be supporting Ronna Romney McDaniel for the position of Chairman of the Republican National Committee in the upcoming party election.

In a public statement, the committee declared a vote of “no confidence” in McDaniel’s leadership and called for a new pro-America chairman.

“We believe that RNC leadership needs a new vision for future elections,” said the Alabama GOP in their statement. “We believe that the RNC needs to make defending the American people and their God-given rights and freedoms a priority.”

The statement went on to cite McDaniel’s electoral failures and the perceived liberalization of the Republican Party’s national agenda as reasons for opposing her re-election as RNC Chair.

“We believe that the RNC needs fresh, new leadership who can inspire and lead grassroots Republicans to victory,” the statement read.

The Alabama GOP’s statement against McDaniel comes as she faces growing calls for her replacement among grassroots conservatives and national figures.

The Texas GOP has already called for her removal as RNC Chair, and a supermajority of Republican voters also support her removal.

MyPillow CEO and election integrity activist Mike Lindell has also announced a campaign to challenge McDaniel for RNC Chair, citing her “failed” leadership in a statement of his own.

“Ronna McDaniel has failed in her leadership,” Lindell said. “We need a new input to get a different output.”

A recent poll by the conservative organization Convention of States Action shows that a vast majority of Republican voters are in favor of replacing Ronna Romney McDaniel as RNC Chair.

The survey found that 73% of GOP voters are in favor of a change in leadership, with only 6% supporting McDaniel’s re-election campaign.
