Investigative journalist Nick Shirley uncovered $170 million in alleged fraud in California. The investigation centered on hospice care centers and daycares.
“We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences,” Shirley said. “We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians.”
“California may have the largest amount of fraud in the country as California is the state with the highest taxes and collects more money than any other state in America,” he stated in the video.
The state’s version of Medicaid, called Medi-Cal, has “more than doubled” since 2022, despite the state’s population not growing exponentially, he explained.
Governor Gavin Newsom’s (D) press office responded to Shirley’s findings. “WOW. Nick Shirley finds potential FRAUD in DONALD TRUMP’s FEDERAL Medicare system!” the account mocked. “Gavin Newsom imposed a moratorium on new hospice licenses beginning in 2021.”
Shirley previously revealed that numerous California voters are registered at the same address, while others are listed as being well over 100 years old.
“California is the breeding ground for voter fraud in America, as millions of people vote with no ID, month-long election processes, inaccurate voter rolls, dead people caught voting, even a dog successfully registered to vote, and voter verification is all based on your signature — not who you actually are,” he wrote on X.
In December, Shirley exposed more than $110 million in fraud within Minnesota daycares. “We uncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day. Like it and share it around like wildfire! It’s time to hold these corrupt politicians and fraudsters accountable,” Shirley wrote at the time. “We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening, the fraud must be stopped.”
