Federal authorities revealed a major arrest in Florida after the FBI detained a 20-year-old man accused of preparing to carry out and livestream a violent neo-Nazi attack. Investigators linked Lucas Alexander Temple to encrypted Signal chats where he allegedly shared explosive instructions, extremist propaganda, and graphic messages that detailed potential acts of violence. Court documents cite federal charges that underscore the seriousness of the alleged plot and the threat it posed to public safety.
According to the criminal complaint, Temple distributed detailed diagrams, including a hand-drawn plan for a homemade detonator. He also shared links to videos explaining how to “synthesize dynamite and construct blasting caps,” and posted a 122-page manual filled with White supremacist content. Investigators reported that several chat messages promoted rape, torture, and murder, including disturbing talk about killing non-White children. Screenshots tied to Temple’s aliases included explicit language such as, “How long would it take to rape a femboy to death?” Agents connected those aliases to Temple through personal details he shared, including his age, job, and a family museum visit.
During a search of his home, agents found neo-Nazi propaganda, a book related to the Columbine shooters, and a Springfield Model 67 Series E shotgun with a sawed-off barrel shorter than 18 inches. ATF records confirmed Temple did not have the required registration for the weapon. Investigators also recovered a handwritten note outlining steps for an alleged operation, including: “Wear body cams for livestream. Notify friends of livestream. Put flags on car. Play music on car speakers during operation. Place motion-activated bombs in doorways (for cops).”
Temple was arrested after the search. At his initial appearance, Magistrate Judge Amanda Arnold Sansone ordered his detention, ruling that he posed a serious danger to others. The case now moves forward in federal court as authorities continue reviewing evidence tied to the alleged plot.
