Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), unleashed a vulgar tirade at a progressive rally Sunday, calling President Donald Trump a “piece of [expletive]” and attacking the Supreme Court in a fiery speech that revealed the Democratic Party’s increasingly radical playbook.
Speaking at MoveOn’s “Won’t Back Down Tour” in Phoenix, Crockett told the crowd that Democrats need to “get aggressive” to win in 2028. She made clear that reining in the Supreme Court was a top priority. “We need to have some real guardrails around this Supreme Court because the Supreme Court has paved the way for half the stuff that we see that’s going on,” she said.
Crockett did not stop there. She claimed Trump has succeeded only because “House Republicans are complicit,” “Senate Republicans are complicit,” and “most importantly, the courts, especially the Supreme Court, is complicit.” She then claimed the high court has “no ethics guardrail,” arguing, “we know that they’re taking money – we have the paper trail – and they refuse to put guardrails on themselves.”
This is not the first time Crockett has gone off-script. On social media, she has labeled Trump a “buffoon” and “mofo,” while Trump responded by calling her “low IQ.” Crockett’s strategy seems to rest on profanity and threats to dismantle judicial independence. As she said herself, “For me, it’s getting aggressive.”
