Trump Hosts CEOs in Unprecedented Faith & Economy Summit

President Trump convened over 60 business leaders and CEOs at the White House for a first-of-its-kind luncheon highlighting the synergy between faith-based charity and economic growth. The event, hosted alongside White House Faith Office officials, recognized business leaders who support initiatives in foster care, fatherhood, poverty relief, substance abuse recovery, and prisoner reentry.

Attendees included executives from Hobby Lobby, Jockey International, Aethon Energy, and Shoppa’s Material Handling. The president praised these leaders as “purpose-driven individuals who use their wealth for good in the Earth,” urging continued collaboration to “Make America Great Again—spiritually and financially”.

Trump also highlighted his February executive order establishing the White House Faith Office within the Domestic Policy Council. The office works directly with faith-based and community organizations to shape policies aligned with American values.

Government officials present included Faith Office senior advisor Pastor Paula White, Faith Director Jenny Korn, National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett, Treasury Secretary Bessent, Commerce Secretary Lutnick, and Small Business Administrator Loeffler.

This gathering underscores a strategic pivot—embedding religious values into national policy and economic planning. By mobilizing corporate leaders through faith-driven philanthropy, the event reinforces Trump’s pledge to foster moral as well as financial renewal.
