Vice President JD Vance Targeted at Kennedy Center

Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, attended a National Symphony Orchestra concert at the Kennedy Center on Thursday evening, but their night out was disrupted by hostility from the audience.

As Vance took his seat, a leftist in the crowd shouted, “Kill that Vice!”—a shocking and dangerous statement that underscores the escalating climate of political hostility. The audience reacted with jeers and boos, creating a tense atmosphere. At one point, Vance responded, “You ruined this place!”

Security was tight for the event, with audience members undergoing full Secret Service screenings, which delayed the concert by 25 minutes as Vance’s motorcade arrived.

The auditorium has been known for its cultural shift since President Trump took over as its board chairman last month. In a decisive move to restore traditional values to one of the nation’s most prestigious arts institutions, Trump announced an immediate halt to drag performances at the center particularly those targeting children.

“At my direction, we are going to make the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., GREAT AGAIN,” Trump declared. “I have decided to immediately terminate multiple individuals from the Board of Trustees, including the Chairman, who do not share our vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture… Just last year, the Kennedy Center featured drag shows specifically targeting our youth—THIS WILL STOP.”

Trump emphasized his commitment to elevating the Kennedy Center as a beacon of true American talent, stating, “The Kennedy Center is an American jewel and must reflect the brightest STARS on its stage from all across our nation. For the Kennedy Center, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”
