The U.S. Central Command announced that it carried out 95 operations against ISIS in 60 days.
According to a press release, the operations “resulted in 163 terrorists killed and 33 captured, including over 30 senior and mid-level ISIS leaders.”
The release added that the operations led to the “seizure of significant enemy materiel that could aid in future disruptions” and has “constrained” ISIS leaders’ ability “to operate and to plan attacks.”
Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, commander of U.S. Central Command, said in a statement, “Alongside our coalition and Iraqi partners, we will continue to aggressively pursue these terrorists and disrupt their capability to conduct operations against U.S. interests, as well as those of our allies and partners.”
The Hill reported that two U.S. service members were wounded in an October 22 operation. A third individual was assessed for traumatic brain injury.
