Biden to Drop Out if Diagnosed with ‘Medical Condition’

President Joe Biden said that he would consider ending his reelection campaign if he was diagnosed with a “medical condition.”

In an interview with BET News, Biden said that if there was “some medical condition that emerged” or if “doctors came to me and said, you got this problem and that problem,” he would consider dropping his campaign.

Biden went on to reflect on his administration, saying that he had anticipated that he would “pass it to someone else” because he planned to be a “transitional candidate.”

“But I didn’t anticipate things getting so, so, so divided,” he added.

“And quite frankly, I think the only thing age brings is a little bit of wisdom,” Biden said. “I think I’ve demonstrated that I know how to get things done for the country,” Biden noted.

The news comes as Biden recently tested positive for COVID-19.

Biden previously said that he would only “stand down” from the presidential race if the “Lord Almighty himself comes down.”
