Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban said that Donald Trump is the only one who can stop the ongoing war in Ukraine and “save the Western World.”
The comment was made during an interview with Tucker Carlson.
Carlson asked the Prime Minister, “If you were in charge of NATO, if you were Joe Biden, what would your next move be for the war in Ukraine?”
“Peace immediately,” Orban said. “Call back Trump. That’s the only way out.”
“The best foreign policy of the recent several decades belonged to him. He did not initiate any new war,” Orban added. “He treated nicely the North Koreans and Russia, even the Chinese.”
“Facts count. And his foreign policy was the best one for the world.”
“Trump is the man who can save the Western World,” Orban said.

Like President Trump, Orban supports putting his country first in order to govern properly. According to the Economist, Orban ran for office on a platform that decried globalist policies, which led to increased rates of crime and terrorism. He noted that mass immigration “endangers our way of life, our culture, our customs and our Christian traditions.” Hungary’s history of fighting to survive as a homogenized society has given Orban a positive view of President Trump’s America First policies.
