On her “Archetypes” podcast, Duchess Meghan Markle defended the idea of “woke,” arguing that various words, including “woke” are “unnecessarily charged as it pertains to women.” Although the duchess admitted the discussion is “spoon-feeding the click bait,” she added that “woke” simply means to be “alert to injustice in society, especially racism.”
