50 Illegal Immigrants with Felony Charges Arrested

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 50 illegal immigrants with felony charges.

The immigrants “threaten public safety and have previously been removed from the United States,” ICE said in a statement.

Several of those arrested included a 43-year-old who had been convicted of child sex abuse, a 38-year-old who had sexually assaulted a child, a 51-year-old who committed first-degree murder, and a 36-year-old who possessed a fraud document, indecent exposure, carrying a pistol without a license, and a 30-year-old who committed aggravated battery.

In fiscal year 2023, ICE arrested more than 70,000 illegal immigrants.

There were about four charges and convictions per individual, totaling 290,178.

“These included 33,209 assaults; 4,390 sex and sexual assaults; 7,520 weapons offenses; 1,713 charges or convictions for homicide; and 1,655 kidnapping offenses,” ICE wrote.

Last month, a noncitizen was accused of running over and killing a woman in Virginia, American Faith reported, while another was accused of murdering his own two children in Wisconsin.

Law enforcement said that he stabbed the children to death and attacked his wife while she was sleeping.
